There is room to move it to a new location within the updated Fantasyland. Perhaps near the tents and Dumbo. That would allow it to have the updated facade of the DL attraction (used at most other DL parks). It should never leave the Magic Kingdom, though. It belongs there.

Perhaps a non-elevated, land-based monorail would be cheaper? That's an option. You would only need to elevate where it crosses major highways. There is also the suspended type, where the monorail train runs under the track. I remember the original drawings had the monorail going to Disney...

Between the river and the island, that's a huge chunk of land ripe for revision. I love Tom Sawyer Island, but understand the need to utilize space for the most visitors.

I think this is now the most likely scenario. CBJ will be made part of Liberty Square by the fate of location, if not thematically. It's becoming obvious we're getting a new Frontierland, updated for a new era.

Absolutely. Family Guy for the win! Perhaps Disney should open a 5th gate with an emphasis on roller coasters and more entertainment geared toward an adult or cultured crowd, perhaps with some of their retro properties. The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, and other IPs that might offend the...

Of course they should exploit The Simpsons IP. It is a popular franchise, and has consistently made the top 10 or 20 television programs any given year. Their own land at the Studios is a must.

One hopes that we Disney will create a "New Orleans Square" area within the Magic Kingdom, with Frontierland's borders moved to Big Thunder Railroad and beyond that with the new themed area. Some updated facades for most of the current Frontierland is all that's needed for it to be re-themed...
