    What did you do?

Though it's been darn near perfect, low humidity, low to mid 80s for the week in Memphis, I worked indoors and said hello to some TurboJam routines with Chalene Johnson and some P90X x-stretch routines. I've got this kink in my lower left back from sitting in front of the computer at the TV...

'The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend'

A look at some of the merchandise that will sold at the Tower 2014 10-mile nighttime fun run. Shirt appears to be the tech race shirt, but not quite sure. Courtesy https://www.facebook.com/groups/teamrundisney/

    What did you do?

2.7 miles Monday late morning through Downtown Memphis in about 30 minutes. Near 79, humid but not oppressively humid. Just had to squeeze in a quick run. Feel better @Edward Jackson . I had sciatic nerve pain in my left lower spine spring / summer of 2010. Know what you are experiencing. Had...

    What did you do?

Just under 3 miles, say 2.75, in about 30 minutes or so. Dusk run Wednesday. Still 91 out, humidish, storms a'comin', windy. Temps dipped down to about 89 when I finished. At least it will be in the 80s the next few days, and rain. Since Rock n Roll Cleveland half is dead (taking a page out of...

    What did you do?

Paid for it Friday. Ran around noon in Downtown Memphis' concrete jungle. Not fun. It was already 92 and with the sun beating down felt like 97. It was also quite humid, like 85-percent humidity. managed just under 2.5 miles in 35 some minutes. Hoping to put in more miles Sunday and the next...

    What did you do?

Ran before work this morning, super humid 90-percent humid out around 6:50am in Memphis (what's new?). Bumped into my 2 coworkers doing live shots for the morning show. Ran 2.50 miles, nothing big. Needed it. Also learned a few hours later that the 2014 Cleveland Rock n Roll Half decided to...

    What did you do?

Wore my 2013 Disneyland official shirt this morning for 5.99 miles with a Memphis St. Jude Half / Full marathon training group. Overcast, few spits of rain, 77, muggy, 100-percent humidity at 7am. Got it done in about 65-70 minutes. Good run to start the day. Had to wring out my official 2013...

    Disneyland Half Marathon

Enjoy runners! Wish I was with you. This time last year I was completing a very long travel day, ending it at Disneyland Park. Run your race, know your body, hydrate.

'The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend'

Given the next year to train, you should. Seeing that you are averaging 16:30 per mile, hopefully you can work on lowering your time. There is a 16 minute time limit per mile at any runDisney race. If you cannot maintain a 16-minute mile you will be swept up and bused to the finish area.

    What did you do?

79 degrees at 6am for a 5-mile run with the Memphis Breakaway St. Jude training group you say? Bring it. And I did. I thought Friday was tough, Saturday was even worse. At least I knew my pace, slowed down, hydrated a ton. I'm only half crazy. The marathoners who trained with us had to run 11...

    What did you do?

Seven weeks ago I ran a virtual 4-miler with the Team Red White and Blue crew in Florida. It was their Firecracker 4-miler / 10-miler. This week I got the finishers medal and shirt. Though Disney has some awesome finishers medals, this one is special to me. I'm part of a really cool veterans...

    What did you do?

After a mild summer, the heat and humidity are back in Memphis. Ran a measly 2.40 miles in 30 minutes or so Friday morning at 8am. It was already 77 with 80-percent humidity. By the time I finished it was 82 but it felt like 88. Good, steady pace, half the route in the shade amongst the tall...

    What did you do?

4.8 miles Monday morning 79-80 at 10am, overcast with nearly 80-percent humidity, 74 dewpoint and a 15mph southerly breeze. Oh, and there were storms in the area. Good, steady run, hydrated a lot. Broke in my new running shoes. Never thought I would buy a second pair of running shoes before my...

Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon

I agree both with @FerretAfros and @Ariel484 I would suggest using the bag check. I know you will be worried about it all the 13 miles but it's amazing how organized runDisney is in getting your bag from A to B. Though I had some valuables inside my bag (i.e. 2013 Disneyland Half medal), I was...

Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon

Hmmm, maybe it was $20, or $15. I do know it was just enough to taste some food samples. I think I was able to taste at least 3 dishes before the card ran out.

Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon

Donald in his Mexican "3 Caballeros" outfit was hanging out at his usual spot during the afterparty. Unsure if Panchito or Jose Carioca were taking turns with Donald as it took me a long time to just relax and leisurely walk through World Showcase noshing on FREE food ($25 gift card included...

    What did you do?

After a 12-day work week between Air Guard and TV work, missed Saturday morning St. Jude Memphis Breakway Running half marathon / marathon training run. I needed the rest. But I did the 4 miles today that the half runners did. Actually 4.22 downtown on some of the route. Ran it in about 55-60...

    Disneyland Half Marathon

But I do have to say not many people get to run down a nearly deserted Main Street USA at Disneyland at 6am.
