I've seen people doing this before, Mickey will love them and show his appreciation to the children. The cast members usually put them to one side ready for photos to be taken.

I cant comment on which day to attend, as we've only been to the WDW party once (last year) but as for your daughter struggling to stay awake. I'd suggest she will be fine. I agree, my husband loved the breakfast but being vegetarian made it hard for me and my daughter. They want to go back this year but I'm not keen. I'd rather go to Sleepy Hollow any day but the restaurant is amazing and a must see.
