Out of all the international Disney resorts, I'm most intrigued about HKDL's future. Does anybody have any ideas what the next addition might be? I know a spiderman attraction was talked about in Tomorrowland at one point, and the planned Pirates flume ride longgg ago.

Makes sense, so you're expecting the Dino land redo AND the other new attraction planned for AK to open before anything else they have planned for WDW ???

I'm aware of the loop, but wouldn't be against Animal Kingdom being a little more on the thrill side for its lineup. Although I do see a glaring gap in the park's lineup with no family or kiddie coaster. It's either Everest or nothing. Long live the Excavator coaster I guess lol

There's a lot of money to go around, and Disney has been eyeing expanding MK's capacity for a while now, so I think the land beyond Big Thunder will still get developed within the next decade, I just think Disney realized their other parks still need help more than MK.

Honestly how hard would it be to clone the mine cart ride from DLP, obviously its not the smoothest but Intamin has come a long way. Plus it would give AK one more attraction to its lineup, ever since losing Primeval Whirl, AK only has 1 coaster.

You think they would go back to the original Lion King plans they had for AK, rather than just copying whatever they're developing for Paris? Obviously AK wouldn't get an entire land, it would just get the E-Ticket

That's essentially 3 mini lands, if anything, the Tropical Americas in AK will break this trend

It'll never happen because it seems like Disney just builds single IP lands nowadays, but I wish they would replace Animation Courtyard with a ToonTown type land, the park could really use it!

If they're bringing back Joe, they should bring back another Disney Legend... Tony Baxter!

Eh, I mean its another trackless dark ride... but if its built at DHS, that would be 3 trackless dark rides in one park... a bit too repetitive imho.

Isn't sad how we're just accustomed to Disney building new lands with just 1 ride, lol we're not even expecting more than 1 attraction anymore 😂 Although a Zootopia land could easily add some flat rides to its lineup, and probably blend in well.

I agree with the majority of what you said, and I am hopeful DLP will receive more capital in the coming years. As for needing double the equipment, not quite... While you would need more craftsmen and artisans working on the projects simultaneously, you could develop both lands with the same...

I don't know if it would be the same ride system though, DLP's seems to be a flume similar to Splash Mountain. Animal Kingdom needs more traditional dark rides.

Iger infuriates me, can we stop extending his contract and actually get new blood in the executive suite, we don't want his cronies in there either, time to clean house!

I just don't understand why Disney wouldn't build both lands around the lake at once... you have all the construction equipment there already, that area isn't open to guest so it's not like you'd be affecting operations for the park. WDSP isn't like a Magic Kingdom, where it can slow walk...

I think we'll see a new generic themed land, not themed to a single IP, when Animal Kingdom announces their plan for Dinoland

Wouldn't want them to touch Hall of Presidents, its one of the only unique things Magic Kingdom has... and the idea for the attraction came straight from Walt himself, it's a great love letter to America and really shows the affection Walt had for the country, would be a shame to lose it.
