4hr pre-flight pickup is standard for us since we fly to Canada. It does make for a long wait at the airport, and an early morning depending on the time of your flight. But given the insanity at MCO lately, it's worth getting there early.

I used to bring my dslr, but then I realized that I was spending a ton of time looking through the camera and staring at the screen rather than just enjoying my time at WDW. For the last couple of trips, I've just used my phone to get a few decent shots ... most of them are just going on...

You will love it! I adore POR. It's by far our favourite resort, even though we're staying at SSR in a couple of weeks. We'll definitely be visiting just to stroll the beautiful grounds.

'Ohana at the Poly or Boma at AKL. Both are delicious, off the beaten path, and very well themed. The bonus at 'Ohana if you eat late is that you may get a fireworks view table. We've been to Boma 4 or 5 times and I'm not tired of it yet.

We are going at the same time. East coast Canadians so anything above 65F is considered balmy! We'll be bringing mostly shorts and t-shirts with a few sweaters for later nights at the parks. My goal is to only wear long pants to our dinner at Cali Grill. And we plan to spend plenty of time...
