    AKL or Beach Club???

In terms of resorts, I agree with most here--the AKL is far more unique and attractive than Beach Club. Now, for purposes of location, Beach Club is far more convenient. However, not $150/night convenient. If prices were equal, I'd say Beach Club, but since they're not, stay where you're at.

    Any truth in this

I think you're kind of missing the point. There is science. And there is optics. I don't disagree with you, but many will perceive additional cleaning efforts as Disney's effort to prevent the spread and provide for a safe, hygienic experience. That will instill confidence-false or not-on many...

    Any truth in this

They'll say they are using the extra hours to clean and disinfect.

    Any truth in this

I'm a skeptic. I think there is just too much damn money to be made (and re-made) for Disney to limit its guests. I suspect they'll hire more cleaning crews (who'll be quite visible to guests) and perhaps limit park hours to give the appearance that it cares; when, in reality, the likelihood is...

Ever lost or found anything valuable?

If this counts, I found a woman's bracelet at a gas station exiting Disney World. My wife got it appraised and it was valued at $2000+ but they'd only give us $600 or so for it. My wife ended up having the jeweler modify it for her. She still owns it to this day.

Best resort for a girls trip?

I'd stay on one of the Boardwalk hotels (Boardwalk, Dolphin, Swan, Beach Club, Yacht Club). There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance from any of those hotels so you'll have options at night. I'd prefer those hotels as opposed to "stand-alone" options.

    Yum . . . Ample Hills!

    Top 5 Restaurants at WDW

If upscale dining is your thing, I'd rank it like this: 1. Capa (it's in the Four Seasons so I don't know if that applies); 2. Bluezoo 3. Jiko 4. Flying Fish 5. Frontera 3-5 are fairly interchangeable for me. I'd put Jiko ahead only because the food is quite different than most.

Worst hotel room view in all of Disney World?

That's disappointing, particularly considering the prices of those hotels.

I Should Have Known Better, or, My Meal at Tokyo Dining

Disney dining plays it very safe. They are trying to appeal to a very, very wide base of palates. I can't say I blame them. There are probably folks from less urbanized parts of the country that don't have a sushi place anywhere in sight. They can go to Disney World and go to Japan and try a...

Bay lake or poly with toddlers

I'd advise against a split stay if you have kids. With the little ones and all the "stuff" you have to bring specifically for them, that will just add stress. I think both are fantastic choices with access to the Monorail, so personally I'd go with whichever one is cheaper. If cost is the...

What is your favorite WDW Restaurant ?

I've enjoyed all the following, but if I had to rank them: 1. Capa 2. Bluezoo 3. Jiko 4. Flying Fish 5. Frontera

    Room with three beds?

It's not so much that it's a twin bed as much as the fact of the proximity between the beds. I couldn't sit up in the bunk bed and I'm only 5'9".

    Room with three beds?

The cabins do sleep 4 adults because there is a queen and a pull-out sofa. But, OP wants 3 beds. My only suggestion is that I would not rely on any of the bunk beds for an adult.

    Room with three beds?

I'm 5'9". Not a giant by any means. First, the beds are twin size, if that. That's simply not comfortable for an adult. To make matters worse, the beds are so close together that I could not sit up straight on the lower bunk bed. The "upper" bed was that close. I had booked it with the hope...

    Wilderness Lodge vs. Boardwalk

If prices are the same, IMO, Boardwalk.

    Room with three beds?

Bunk beds are not an option for adults. I've stayed at the cabins and those bunk beds are for children and children only.

    Wilderness Lodge vs. Boardwalk

It's close, but Boardwalk. First, I hate the buses and try to avoid it if possible. At the Boardwalk, you can avoid it for two park days whereas at Wilderness, only one. Also, the Boardwalk and the nearby vicinity has really nice restaurants within walking distance. It's also a nice spot to...
