I hope you’re right but I’ve seen this before. Goes down,,,goes down then BOOM another wave…WDW brings back masks me spring and summer are shot

Just when Disney drops the indoor mask mandate….here we go back up again. FINALLY I book a mask free trip for mid April and if things go sideways WDW could bring them back….and I’d have to cancel…AGAIN!! I don’t mind masks I just don’t want to wear them at WDW. That may be in jeopardy I’m afraid

National cases jumped from 33k last Sunday to 48k today. Here we go again :(

I really hope Disney doesn’t reinstate indoor masks. They’ve only been gone a week

If they change it back I’m gonna be hella ed!!!! I’d have to cancel yet another trip. I planned it last weekend after they dropped the masks. I’ve been waiting to go back and not wear a mask. I missed my window last summer

Depends -What the CDC changes their guidance to -If things get bad again (which I think will happen at some point) they will be brought back. I just hope everything stays relatively quiet at least through the summer

So what was their guiding metrics? Couldn’t have been the CDC because all of Florida is still in the high category. In fact #’s are still higher now than when they brought the masks back the end of summer.

A few things. 1-The Cases/#'s are higher now than they were in July when they brought them back. That tells me that the court of public opinion carries more weight that the CDC's numbers do, at least now they do. 2-Can we guess how long the masks will be optional for vaxxed guests going forward?

True, but come spring/summer when other maskless options are available, it could hurt them. Esp when they're the only place left that requires them.

I've got a nice chunk of change in Southwest credits I am about to use to take my first covid restriction free vacation the end of April, the first one sine 2019. US Orlando has done away with masks, for the vaccinated, which we all are. I am about ready to use my credits, and head there...

If Disney listened to the CDC and their guidelines the masks would have been dropped in September when OC hit the yellow level of moderate then the blue levels of low. Instead they did nothing NOBODY knows what they use or if or when they’ll change anything

gotcha….while you’re in contact with them ask them how Disney measures all this and which metrics they use to guide their decision making
