News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

Yes, that was discussed previously. Urban centers, hubs, destination resorts, etc. you are most likely to pay for parking. I still don't think Disney should now be charging for it, considering how much of an upcharge there is to stay on property-I assumed part of the higher cost of a WDW resort...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

Yes, that is true-I find it that the destination resorts have parking fees (I call it a "hub" but that would include destination resorts). But my statement is in regards to those who said all hotels have a parking fee-that is not true; outside of hubs/destination resorts, you're not going to pay...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

I was thinking the same thing. Hotels in big cities-yup, pay parking fees. Outside big hubs though-I can't remember ever paying for hotel parking. So when folks make the argument that you always pay parking fees, that is incorrect. And I do a decent amount of business travel.

Disney After Hours returns to the Magic Kingdom at new lower pricing

See, you pointed out the issue: for one person or two, okay, maybe it's a good deal/can be really nice to feel like You have the park to yourselves. But, for a whole family, ooof. That's a difficult proposition. I mean, Disney got us already, because we purchased APs, and we purchased knowing...

    Changed Flight Time Feb. 2017

This happened to us during our last trip, but we booked flights directly through UA. We booked our flights far in advance but their flight slots/flight time routes had changed when we got closer to our trip, so both the departure and arrival flights changed for us. Anyhow, we were notified via...

WDW is canceling Jan. 31st reservations at CRT to hold event for more $

If I can make comments to them like Statler and Waldorf, then count me in! Oh wait...I don't have $10K to throw down for this dinner you speak of...

WDW is canceling Jan. 31st reservations at CRT to hold event for more $

Don't get me wrong-I agree with you that there is wiggle room, but it's probably very tight and I just don't expect it, especially for the masses. I definitely don't expect for Disney to bend over backwards for me-I am the average Joe Schmoe, and more importantly/fortunately, healthy. I would...

Thinking about a Nov trip, what's your favor quick service, F&W kiosk?

If related to Epcot QS options: really love Sunshine Seasons and Les Halles Boulangerie. Favorite items at F&W were the lamb chops with mint pesto at the (I think) Australian kiosk.

WDW is canceling Jan. 31st reservations at CRT to hold event for more $

Well, if it were so simple to change all those plans, and have the stars fully aligned, I would say "great!" But, I'm not so entirely convinced that Disney will make those changes (maybe they have the power but perhaps not the will) for most folks. Do sometimes they just hand over some fast...

WDW is canceling Jan. 31st reservations at CRT to hold event for more $

Agreed. We learned this the hard way last trip. Sometimes, with little ones, you have a routine that you have to follow (eating, napping, etc.) or there may be meltdowns. So when lunch or dinner is scheduled at a particular time, there's a good reason for it-you want your family (and your...

WDW is canceling Jan. 31st reservations at CRT to hold event for more $

For myself, if they could give me a reasonable time, I would take the change in reservation-but CRT for CRT. Considering how difficult it is to get a CRT reservation (and perhaps my inability to out someone over the phone/lack of luck), it ain't gonna happen is the most likely scenario...

WDW is canceling Jan. 31st reservations at CRT to hold event for more $

Sorry for the late jump in here, but, I do work for a multi-billion dollar company. When an event is planned, it's usually months in the making; and typically all teams involved with that event (be it marketing, sales, event coordinators, etc.) are pulled into meetings along the entire track of...

    JUNGLE SKIPPER CANTEEN, ANY GOOD?

Was there in a September and had the cachapas appetizer, that we just devoured. I had the noodle bowl with duck for my entree, and it was large and very filling. Although I get quite spoiled when it comes to Pho in my area (and friends' moms that make the dish at home), it was similar to that...

first trip to Aulani, info/tips needed

Hi there! We went to Aulani in Dec. 2015, and had a great time. I would recommend picking up the daily event flyer that they put out the night before, by the front desk area, to see what events they have for the following day. They had some fun activities every day, like an art activity where...
