So UO just posted a WARN to Florida of 5400 furloughed, is that TMs that were all ready furloughed? Plus the 1900 they laid off 2-3 weeks ago they must be at 20-30% of their work force gone.

Can Disney even do layoff prior to fiscal close? Don't they have to do a 60 day notice according to WARN ?

Covid will be the excuse for Disney to do the changes they have wanted to do for years. The Park reservation system will not go away IMHO. Crowding at MK was always an issue. Post Covid it will give them a way to limit MK crowds and "push" you to another park during your visit. Park hopping...

The layoffs in Florida are gut wrenching. Look at Florida WARN site and you know it is coming to Disney. That they reinstated excutive pay when they have to know they will be destroying lives is so completely tone deaf and a terrible corporate culture.

Southwest basically called out their competitors that are planning layoff begining Oct 1 and that they will NOT be doing lay offs until they end of the year. They pride themselves on never having done a layoff which is unheard of in the airline industry...
