How many times does it have to be said that these two things are unrelated? Cripes, read the thread and follow along. And by your wording, Marvel can't "pull out" of Univ because they don't own the attractions or even the rights. The only way Marvel leaves IOA is if Univ allows it.

Plus, the Sony/Disney deal is, for all intents, a usage deal. Sony is not giving up the movie rights to Spiderman, they are collaborating with Marvel by allowing Spiderman to become part of the MCU so that Marvel gets the use of a character it wants in a storyline that he was a significant part...

I'm pretty sure Al Lutz didn't go on a message board and less than 10 minutes after there was a report of a "ride" being down immediately blame it on a specific maintenance issue without any further information having been given as to what happened. Hence the difference in criticism style.

I don't post here much, and when I do I have typically been critical of Disney as well, but the irrational nature of some of the bile that is spewed is getting out of hand. Yes WDW is not what it used to be...and it should be called out for that constantly. However, criticism loses credibility...

Space Mountain was planned from very early on. And if you are going to invoke Walts name and then think he would be happy with the current state of WDW then I think there is little else to discuss.

This is not what Disney was always about....Disney used to try and appeal to all markets and did a d@m^ good job of it...if they are now only about pixie dust and princesses they are stupidly limiting their market. Pixie Dust and princesses was Fantasyland not all of WDW. Definitely not EPCOT...

I got into the global to show one thing....unfortunately it makes it even more sad what has happened. Disney has not forgotten how to create incredibly immersive environments and jaw dropping attractions....but they seem to have decided that in WDW they don't even have to live up to their own...

Actually Disney built RSR and if I am not mistaken some pretty impressive things in HK in that time....the problem is TDO shows no commitment to allowing that type of creativity and spending to occur in WDW Unless it's on magical bracelets and the company sees fit to allow this.
