We stayed in the long house nearest the luau. Each night we would hear the drums beat quickly and a loud "ALOHA!!!" My boys loved it.

How is the cost of living in the Orlando area? I was thinking of trying to get a job with Disney, but the pay rates appeared a bit low.

Part of that may be due to the pay they receive. I checked a disney career site not too long ago and it amazes me how good the service is when many cast members are probably being paid only about $8.00 an hour.

I haven't been able to get back to WDW for 7 years. I go back all of the time vicariously through the people who post stories, pictures and comments on this site. I love it.
