Prefferred vs. Standard at All Star Music

Is it worth booking a preferred room at All Star Music? I noticed the layout of the resort is different then the other values and it seems as though the some of the buildings are far back from the main building. I normally do not pay for preferred but I am thinking after looking at a map I may...

    Driving to WDW?!

We drive ever year from the Philadelphia area. We are a family of 6 and driving saves us a ton of money. We usually leave about 5-6 a.m. the first day and drive about 12 hours to Savannah. We stay at Wingate Savannah Airport. Its clean, quiet and safe and right off of I-95. The next...

    AUTOMATED CHECK IN

On our last visit in February I did on line check in. We were maybe less than an hour drive away when I received a text message saying our room was ready and gave us the room number. We were able to get right into our room with our magic bands without going to the front desk. It was great...

    Just a few tips about POP! 6/20 - 6/26/16

We love Pop. Definitely worth the money staying there. We actually love the food there. We are staying next year and one of the biggest reasons we are is because we think the food is better at Pop then the other values.

    Pop Century: Standard or Preferred?

We only stay standard. When I did on line check in, I requested ground floor near transportation for our stay at All Star Sports. We ended up in building 10 which was literally steps form the food court. It was definitely a preferred room even though we paid for standard. I don't think...

All Stars Music or POP Century?

I vote Pop only because we enjoy their food better. More of a variety then the All Stars.

    Is online check-in worth it?

I think so. I did on line check and the morning of I received a text with our room number that our room was ready. When we got there we went right to our room with our magic bands and were able to get in. We totally bypassed the front desk which was nice.

    Spring Break 2017

I just found out my kids' school spring break for 2017 is the week of March 20. It is usually the week of Easter but for 2017 they are changing it.

    Which Value resort to choose

We stayed at Sports in February and enjoyed it. We did not share a bus. We are going back August of 2017 and decided to stay at Pop mostly because (sounds silly) they have a better food court - there is way more variety.

    July Trip.....Bad?

My sister in law goes the very last week in July every year and she loves it. She never complains about crowds. I know March can get busy with Spring Break crowds but not sure how comparable to the end of July that can be.

    Saratoga or old key west

We have stayed at both and enjoyed both but I think if I was to choose between the two, I would go with SSR. Though the rooms are bit a larger at OKW, I think the the pools are nicer and the fact that that SSR has a better quick service option. OKW only had a to go window as opposed to an...

We've stayed at Movies and Sports and enjoyed them both, but I would have to pick Movies just because of the theming.

Anyone else not going until 2017???

We are not going until August of 2017 for the same reasons as OP. Money and we are having another child. We were just there in February and I cannot wait to go back. I am not happy with all of the cutbacks and changes that Disney is making these days either. But I cannot not go. As a...
