News Disney CEO Bob Chapek suggests price hikes are coming to the parks thanks to guest demand

I'd disagree with this. I have little to no interest in Avatar, yet that is one of my favorite parts of Animal Kingdom. My kids had no interest in Harry Potter, but after visiting Universal this year and seeing the 'world' they created with all of the detail, they have become fans and started...

News Disney CEO Bob Chapek suggests price hikes are coming to the parks thanks to guest demand

The bursting attendance has been an issue for decades. The main problem is the lack of willingness to address the issue by the part of Disney. They have not expanded capacity in any of their parks and the rides/experiences that they have added have not been 'people eaters'. I understand that...

What is the best park in North America outside of Disney and Universal?

Cool. Yeah, it's a coin flip as to if it comes back. They seem to be moving the waiting area back away from the ride, but they also may just be preparing it for a different coaster in its place. Time will tell. If you are ever at Busch Gardens Tampa, I would recommend Cheetah Hunt if you...

What is the best park in North America outside of Disney and Universal?

Why bother with Top Thrill when you could be riding Steel Vengeance. lol. Top Thrill is kinda boring anyway, just up and down and done in less than a minute. If you want induction launches, just go ride Maverick.

What is the best park in North America outside of Disney and Universal?

Hersheypark is amazing. Would agree that it's better than some on the list, but not the best. The layout of the park is very haphazard, and they are not always great about upkeep on some of their rides. Beautiful park though, and having the zoo, water events and chocolate tour really round...

What is the best park in North America outside of Disney and Universal?

Kings Island is good, but its not in the same league as some of the other parks on here. The Beast is awesome, but its mostly just long and has a great final turn. Its a very clean park with a good balance of rides, but its still more of a local park. I find it hard to believe it ranked...

What is the best park in North America outside of Disney and Universal?

In my experience, Dollywood. The only one I haven't been to is Silver Dollar City and Canada Wonderland. Cedar Point and Busch Gardens Tampa are great parks though.

Post your experiences without Genie+ at WDW

We went in June. Only used it one of the days for EPCOT and it was terrible. We rope dropped and only ended up using it for Soarin and Test Track. Only ended up saving ourselves about 15min for each wait. All the times for most of the rides were booked up immediately and we ended up...

    Needing some restaurant opinions/help

Both are good. We just ate at Liberty Tree on our last trip and had a great experience. It's family style, quieter, and in a more intimate setting. Basically, they serve a never ending holiday meal, turkey, brisket, mash potatoes, etc. We ate at BOG on our previous trip. It can get a...

You were in the right area. The background gives it away as disney springs. Its Frontera Concina.

    Where in The World?

Correct. We have a winner. Thought the foreground would be hard, but the background gives it away. Its the items directly by the front desk from the other side.

Upcoming solo trip with cancer - places to relax/must do's?

Animal Kingdom has a lot of great spaces to get away from the crowds. I would recommend taking some time and walking around the tree of life, or any of the animal trails. A great spot to sit and relax is the nomad lounge near Tiffins. Also, the path that connects from pandora and goes to the...

    Memory maker

In my opinion its not really worth it to buy it ahead of time. yeah, its 'cheaper' but you have no idea how much you will use it or what the pictures will be like. Keep in mind that you can also purchase MM after the fact for just a single park. Since they have greatly reduced the presence...

    Is it really that bad?

I'm a bit partial because I grew up in LA, but I prefer Disneyland over the two locations. We took my daughter there when she was 1 and a half as her first Disney experience and had a great time. Both would be good, but I think the more relaxed vibe and rides would be a good fit for that age...
