No IP, no care

I’m not going to beat a dead horse on the IP thing, but it is a little encouraging these aren’t clones of existing stuff. However, Disney doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt anymore from me, so I’ll await the finished product.

I wonder how much the person who gets to run things through the Corporate Buzzword-a-nator to produce things like “demand moderation” gets paid.

It would make more operational sense, to me, to have AAs in the queue (ala Midway Mania) than in the ride, if they were to bring the bears to the DCA water ride.

My personal opinion on that is Uni has always been about IP so there’s a different expectation there, whereas the Disney parks (initially) had the familiarity of IP as a draw for the other experiences in the parks.

Another thought - with the Disney songs, you now have basically two of the same attraction in MK between this and Philarmagic, and even one song shared between them, plus two of the same IPs (Coco and Mermaid), albeit with different songs. (and there's also the Mermaid ride, which again shares...

That was one of the things that fell flat for me. "Remember Me" brings to mind the beautiful ending of Coco, which stirred up some manly tears, and a ballad country version of that makes sense - possibly even better than "A Whole New World". Using that song for humor doesn't quite work for me.

...it's ok. Very lacking in humor, which led to the somewhat awkward moment when people starting laughing at the beginning of the Whole New World song, but it wasn't supposed to be funny, but you expect humor with the Bears. I did like the fiddle smoking though.

Well, they didn't need those plans for the Festival Center anymore, might as well strike a match and put 'em to use!

Alright, now I have the option to pay to be disappointed when I can't find anything good or isn't a walk-on after I use the first three fka Fastpasses! At least someone finally realized the unneeded confusion of the naming structure of Genie, Genie+, Lightning Lane, etc.
