DHS Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I have ridden transformers and had no ideas there was a floor change. Does Spider-Man at IOA have multi floors?

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

The comment was said at the studios park - a lot of screens - minions, simpsons, transformers (atfter riding spiderman), twister, Shrek Trust me - I enjoy universal - both parks. Disney has more realized environments and varied experiences - they all *feel* different - at universal, the...

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

Our family had a similar comment. Our daughter said “all the experiences felt the same” when we went to WDW for her graduation and did a day at universal.

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

I just wish the ride was less nauseating. They can cut back on the swaying/rocking motion a bit to make the ride experience more comfortable. Gringotts is exciting and comfortable.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

It is amazing to me that the two parks in California have (the same?) or less ride count than all 4 parks in Florida.

News Walt Disney World theme park ticket price increases go into effect March 12 2019

Good post. I am looking at my old 1997 tickets - 40 bucks for a one-day ticket and 150 for a 4-day park hopper. Aaahhhh ... good times :)

News Walt Disney World theme park ticket price increases go into effect March 12 2019

The bottom line is a multi day ticket went up 9 dollars per day. So a 5-day park hopper went up by 45.00 When price increases are taken as a one-time instance, it does not look that bad. But when price increases are so frequent, it totals up very quickly. Then step back and look ... and "WOW"...

News Walt Disney World theme park ticket price increases go into effect March 12 2019

This chart was posted here on the forum and I cannot remember who posted it (@ParentsOf4 ? Maybe?) but it is a good visual to show the ticket increases up until 2015 or so ... I would love to see an updated chart

News Walt Disney World theme park ticket price increases go into effect March 12 2019

Someone on this forum once posted a terrific graph that showed the average household income as compared to WDW tickets. The two were about the same until around early 2000’s the WDW ticket prices started increasing- and the difference has grown steadily greater.

DHS Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disney's Hollywood Studios opening date

How many ride vehicles per turntable? How may riders per vehicle? Is this a low capacity ride?

More offsite hotels to offer Extra Magic Hours and extended FastPass+ booking window

Exactly. For my Jan 2018 two-day trip staying on property, the second I could book fast passes, NONE were to be had for Flight Of Passage. With the additional good neighbor and other properties offering the perk, it will definitely be more difficult.

DHS Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to be Re-Themed?

I totally agree. It would make sense. The only thing I could think of that would not make this work is that CARS appeals to all but younger smaller kids can’t ride. On the other hand, the big CarsLand in California is a Test Track ride and that also has a height requirement.

    HKDL Impressions

Thank you for all the in-depth analysis and time spent in writing your posts. The photo examples helped. I know what you mean about the use of real materials and the authentic craftsmanship used in creating the successful Fantasyland in Paris. I feel Paris is the most beautiful and best designed...

    HKDL Impressions

I am surprised to hear all the negative-ish comments on SDL Fantasyland. Seeing the photos and video online, the castle boat/grotto ride design looks really interesting and clever. Can anyone speak to the impressions of the castle and exploration of that space? Thank you for posting all the...

EPCOT New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

Speaking of Sponsorship - I am reminded how important it is to keep the attraction going. Remember when Al Lutz shamed Disneyland with the neglect of the Tiki Room and DOLE was not having it .. guess what … the Tiki Room roof and more was fixed. Thank you social media (even WAY back then 🤪)

EPCOT New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

Well - if most Disney guests do not know the attractions, then I wonder why Disney has soooo much continual attraction specific merchandise such as PINS and more pins, cups, mugs, t-shirts and so on …..

EPCOT Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

The building could be a real design asset to Test Track. Depending on how the outside painting/lightning effects are it could greatly improve the Test Track show for the rider. I can envision some led lighting strips to add some motion. Etc.
