Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine Review

We had never been to H&V and wondered how different the normal buffet is from this (aside from the names).

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine Review

Which side would you choose? When we first sat down, our table had paper lightsabers that had blue on one side and red on the other, so you could roll them up and have a fun lightsaber to play with. At $55.99 a person, I would have liked to see something a little more useful, as these didn’t...

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine Review

But we can not forget about Dessert! There was a large dessert station with various small desserts, some themed towards the Darks Side (Red) or the Light Side (Blue).

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine Review

So while we enjoyed our dinner, we also waited for each character to come around! Luckily, we were in a spot that we could see the characters coming to us, so I could pick Trent up and prepare for the interaction and photo. Jedi Mickey! Him and Minnie were perhaps the least interactive out...

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine Review

I like how they named each food item with a Star Wars Theme…here are a bunch of photos from the buffet area. Breads and rolls. Just to the right of this photo, they had butter and apple butter. I combined both on one piece of bread and it was delicious. I’m not one to fill my stomach with bread...

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine Review

We were in WDW from May 22-28 and went to Star Wars Weekend both weekend nights we were there. The Symphony in the Stars fireworks show is AMAZING - LOVE the finale! We also ate at the Jedi Mickey's Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood & Vine! For one, I can't believe I water over an hour on the...

Disney Dream Stateroom 5522 Review & Photos!

We were a family of 3 (including a 19 month old toddler) that sailed on the Disney Dream January 26 - 30th, 2014. We were really intrigued by the Category 08A rooms. Category 08A rooms are one category below the balcony rooms, but still considered Oceanview because it’s a “porthole” room...

Trip Report A Night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Thanks! An empty park is such a beautiful thing, but I rarely can make it that late! Thanks! The special event parties are lots of fun. Thanks for reading! I think what made us be able to stay that late was that we didn't wake up too early that morning, we took it easy and Trent and I took...

Trip Report A Night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

The show was fun and I recorded bits and pieces of it. I’m glad we caught the final show of the evening, as opposed to seeing one of the earlier shows. There was hardly anyone there and much of the front of the castle forecourt was open to just stand anywhere you wanted. Too bad Trent missed it...

Trip Report A Night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We didn’t watch the 2nd parade, since we got our preferred location for the first. Instead, we just kept strolling. We had kind of decided to just slowly head towards the front of the park to leave, taking photos along the way and making a quick stop at the Christmas Shoppe. When we arrived at...

Trip Report A Night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We stopped at various locations to take photos of the decorations. Nothing was overly decorated and I feel like the majority of decorations were in the Main Street and Hub area. Not many people were dancing in Cosmic Rays, but Goofy had to keep the party going.

Trip Report A Night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

After the parade, we headed to the spot Brett wanted to view the fireworks from…only to find a Photopass location set up there, two ladies with their tripods set up, and a sea of elderly people in scooters. Figures. We hung around to see what was happening and we overheard that the two ladies...

    Arrival Time

Great, thanks for all the advice! We'll show up earlier than our time and see how it goes! Yes, we'll have a 19 month old with us, so I don't know how well "waiting" anywhere for a long period of time will go lol. I am ok with a wait, and it is fully expected, but I didn't want to show up...

    Arrival Time

Urgh...this is my first Disney cruise and when I got the email telling me I could do the online check in from Costco, I didn't immediately go do it since I didn't have my passports with me and wanted to be able to enter everything in at that time. By the time I did complete it, the earliest time...
