    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

To be fair, I don’t think I ever imagined they’d fix the yeti. Spending SO much money on such a quick few seconds of a ride. Tower of terror on the other hand, may make more sense.

POLL: Are you in favor of the Splash Mountain Re-theme?

I love Splash Mountain. And I’m devastated to see it go. But I voted yes.

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

I’m shocked. That’s it. I don’t know what to say. I’ll give it a chance though. At least Baxter is working on it again.

I’m.... shocked to say the least. Though they said planned for a year. Doubt. Extreme doubt. This was an effect.

    Reservations

Honestly it seems the system is quite bugged right now with the heavy traffic. Some people able to reserve with all their resort stays, some people not. Just hope that it’s fixed within the first few days — before the reservations are all booked like in Hollywood Studios.

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

Seems similar to how Fastpass reservations are made. For AP holders, at least.

What is your timeline for Disney being back to normal again?

Yeah, I guess so. I’ve just been thinking this way of Disney because of how safe it kind of looks like they’re playing it. Them being the last to reopen instead of one of the first to get the money was a bit surprising to many. But the last thing Disney wants is to draw attention to themselves...

What is your timeline for Disney being back to normal again?

I think the timeline choices you listed were too close together. I would say sometime in 2022 or at latest 2023. It’s going to be a long time before we get back to “normal” at theme park. Yes, a lot of life will be back to normal by then I believe, but theme parks will have to be extremely...

    The Splash Mountain Appreciation Thread

This. I wish this too. Yet in two Islands of Adventure rides: Ripsaw falls and Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges get you absolutely drenched throughout the entire ride. Jurassic Park doesn't get you as wet, but you might get more wet in it more than Splash anyways lol.

I have to ride it each and every time I go to MK. No skips. Never. No. Big nono. If I had to choose between any of the mountains it’d be Splash.

Riding a ride that broke down?

Absolutely, and also great getting the free fastpass afterwards 😉

Riding a ride that broke down?

I’ve gotten stuck and evacuated on Splash Mountain after the big drop and before the mini drop leading into the final room. (next to that one small waterfall on the rocks). Interesting to say the least. Got to see the backstage areas and where some of the logs sat outside the building. They were...

So who's going to be there in July?

I hope to head over in August when hopefully everybody who wanted to go right away is gone. Only an hour drive away so we have plenty of opportunity to make reservation for the day. Though, I will likely hold off on Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and go for Animal Kingdom first.

Florida Resident Disney Vloggers on YouTube

Half the people that complain about Tim attending the media event act like they wouldn't have gone if Disney hadn't called you out there. And again, this wasn't opening day like people are mentioning. I'm sure he wouldn't have gone if Disney hadn't called them out, so I'm not sure why people...

Florida Resident Disney Vloggers on YouTube

I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I like to believe that people can learn and grow from the past mistakes. This said, I’m going to ask, why did people dig up this stuff out of THOUSANDS of videos? People say that it’s their fault they left it up, but honestly, I feel...

Interactive Attractions in the Near Future

Well, no, they're doing reservations for any normal day now for these new guidelines are they not? They shouldn't even be arriving if they haven't reserved for the day.

    4D shows & live shows

Trying super hard not to go too badly off topic, but similar to Philharmagic & Bugs, what about the Animation Experience in Animal Kingdom? I know this isn’t a show or anything, but it is certainly interactive in the fact that you’re touching pencils and clip boards that are touched by others...

    4D shows & live shows

I believe Philharmagic and bugs are very easy to handle under social distances guidelines. They just REALLY have to make sure they’re wiping those glasses. RoL I’m sure will be able to operate. They just need to make sure people don’t crowd around when they can’t sit.

    What wouldnt be built today?

Well, yes, many are anti-zoo now but zoos still get millions of visitors yearly so I guess it’d still be profitable either way.
