News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

While I think the new Frozen ride in Tokyo looks spectacular, I have major issues with the boat just….floating through the hallways of the palace….huge waterfall elevation changes in the middle of a land based structure….not great, imho. This is what worries me the most with an Encanto boat ride.

Changes to Peter Pan's Flight at Magic Kingdom

This and Big Thunder are welcome news. All of this should have been done prior to the 50th but….pandemic. Anything that will bring MK up to snuff like Disneyland’s 60th is a plus for me.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

And, frankly, now that they are #turbocharging parks investment: they have no excuse.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Honestly I hope they don’t. Figgy deserves some brand new machinery. Imagine him bouncing along the ride vehicle like Olaf in Frozen Ever After. He needs that fluidity of movement.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Just a plussed-up version of the original ride. Could easily fit in the current track blueprint.

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

No offense, but the fact that anyone thinks this is real and not blatant/obvious AI…..we’re doomed lol.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Right. Apart from some cosmetic changes in the interior (bringing back the pavilion logo/updating signage/*some* of the 1986 color scheme) and painting the building back to the off-white of long ago, there were no substantive changes. I would say that the EPCOT overhaul hasn't left its mark on...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

@marni1971 dropped a little mention of a boat ride on the site formerly known as Twitter

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

The plot THICKENS……very exciting thing to see….

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I think he definitely works as a character without Dreamfinder, the proof is in the pudding, BUT I do agree at the core of it. Both were designed in tandem and are yin/yang to the concept of Imagination. I would be extremely disappointed if Dreamfinder doesn't make a triumphant return. And...

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

Do you expect Inside Out to go into Wonders of Life? That is the only logical spot unless it finds a home over at the Magic Eye.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

The easiest win/fix: literally put all of what was inside the Figment Little Golden Book inside that ride. A brand new take on Version 1 but with Imagineering and WDW history Easter eggs. It’s a no brainer.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Also I think the turntable sequence will most likely become a pre-show of some sorts. I'm thinking an extended version of the pre-show/ opening scene of Mystic Manor. No way in heck that the turntable comes back.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I mean, I sort of expected them to go the Dreamfinder route but keep the infrastructure and just gut the sets and go back to something impressive visually. I'm not against that. I suppose I want something a bit more ambitious, though.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

So… Idea 1: Land with a Radiator Springs Racers anchor attraction? Idea 2: Land with a Coco anchor attraction?

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I don't know...Magic Kingdom has a certain elegance, grandeur and timelessness to it that MUST be maintained. Single IP lands don't work with that. For some reason, I am okay with Villains....mainly as a tonal yin/yang to Fantasyland...but to plop Route 66 next to a really gorgeous attraction...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that I think Cars isn’t an option anymore and is just a purposeful, internal leak. We’ve seen this show before. That being said: this is the last true substantial expansion plot the Magic Kingdom has. They have to knock this out of the park. I don’t see...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

Radiator Springs (and the Cars franchise) is an awful fit for Magic Kingdom. The whole Beyond Big Thunder project is extremely worrying for a lot of reasons. The potential is high for really great things, but there's so much that could go wrong.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

All you people are so weird and angry about Tiana’s having a car and being set in 1927, when Country Bears is literally set in the modern era. At least when WDW opened…. If we’re getting into semantics: The founder of Grizzly Hall, Ursus H. Bear, died in 1928. And they’re all singing songs that...
