The soundtrack to this version of the attraction was a MAJOR highlight and addition to the WDW soundscape. That being said, 2.0 was a major downgrade and one of the few rides on property I didn’t care about riding ever again. Thrilled it is getting a refurbishment worth celebrating.

Maelstrom has more class and atmosphere in the opening scene alone than most of the attractions that have come out in the last 10 years.

Genuinely surprised this wasn't on the docket for the 50th (before Covid took away the plans).

Or give Orange Bird a spot in the show...a la Stitch. Insert the "Orange Bird Song" and you've got a hit.

Ugh. Anything less than a full Figment attraction in the main pavilion would be a loss. Inside Out is the perfect thing to put into the Magic Eye space. (This isn’t yet another sign for this board to discuss the terrible idea that they would merge both IP’s into a single dark ride.)

You may be the first person I have ever heard of to say DCA’s Tower was better than DHS. I personally could not disagree more, but to each their own!

With all due respect, keep this and the IP as far away from Animal Kingdom as possible.

I'm surprised that the entire pavement section of the main entrance to World Discovery hasn't been changed despite a refurbished DVC kiosk/merch cart/splash pad/entry to Connections....still has the Innoventions patterns.

Or, rather, will the attraction be a whimsical tour of the history of transport with Test Track vehicles and just....faster? The vibe I'm getting is that it'll be Test Track with just more "optimistic futurism".

If you look at the concept art, you will see literally the same physical show with upgraded animatronics and new set dressing.

Are the WoM connections substantive or is this hollow fan-service?

I am FAR from an apologist for them, but the only reason I can see this being called complete is the full out "rebranding" of the park being complete and launched. Which is objectively true.

I think the Tropical Americas project is probably the one thing MOST likely to be announced at D23.
