In regards to Dinosaur, they were shocked by how much blank space and darkness there was and they felt it was a rusty and outdated experience. They liked the narrative stakes and the thrill of coming face to face with some intense creatures, but found it to be half-baked and underwhelming.

Yeah I don't see a world in which this happens. Putting two IP's together in one ride? It would dilute both and be incredibly confusing from a branding POV. Do I see a world where the Emotions take up residence at the pavilion in the Magic Eye theatre alongside a fully fledged Imagination 4.0...

I don't see how that makes any sense, no offense. Why would they merge two IP's into one?

Also it seems the stalwart preservationists and artists Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily did the costume design for the new show. You can’t get much better than that when it comes to people who care about history and legacy of the Disney parks.

Yes and no. Historically the Country Bears have had 3 entirely different editions to present. This is merely the 4th. This gives them the option to do something new down the line. They could have easily trashed this and made it a dining location. The Country Bears singing songs from the Disney...

The modern Disney company investing cold, hard cash into a Parks specific IP and giving well over a dozen beloved character AA's a new lease on life with state of the art tech? Genuinely shocking and wonderful to see.

In terms of MK and AK, this is all very welcome news. WDW (mainly Magic Kingdom) is desperate for a Disneyland 50th/60th anniversary level maintenance blitz. To me, that is paramount compared to expansion. It is a shame that DHS won't be dealing with the NW corner...what has changed in the last...

Especially seeing the new Frozen ride in Tokyo... Magic Kingdom (and Coco, for that matter) deserves a deluxe experience far from the influence and over reliance of screens.

1000% When they first announced Frozen Ever After for EPCOT I had the tiniest, silliest glimmer of hope that they would make this into a jaunt through the Fjords and by the stave churches (hosted by the Frozen characters)…….ah well.

Interesting. I can glean that from watching footage again. I’m not sure how well it holds up conceptually though. Seeing this scary waterfall flooding the halls of the castle though is positively garish:
