    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

You aren’t lying about the simulators/thrills, specifically in USF. I consider USF as my DCA, I’m just there for the greatest hits as it’s easily accessible from the whole resort. I probably wouldn’t visit that park on its own but staying on property I enjoy it as a good appetizer, like DCA is...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

That’s actually what I’ve always said I love about Univesal Orlando Resort as someone who visits from Cali. Universal captured the resort/vacation feeling of WDW but also manages to pack a lot of rides, hotels, and shopping within a close radius like DLR does very well. It’s the best of both...

News Disney transforms Magic Kingdom's famous purple wall to celebrate PRIDE Month at Walt Disney World and will donate merch profits to support LGBTQIA+

Love it! Always wish I could have made Gay Days at DLR growing up, cool to see some cool items in June too. I barely came out 3 years ago at the late age of 26 so it was fun to buy my first rainbow Mickey hat with my mom not too long after. It’s a very special hat now. What many may roll their...

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind SPOILER Thread

Highly agree. It's odd considering I've heard many times on here AK's miserable parking situation was designed that way so guests can see the clear transition from a hot parking lot to a lush park, but then Disney decided to create a land where most of it is contained inside a cheap carnival...

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride vs The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

I was secretly hoping the Secret Life of Pets ride at Universal Hollywood would open the doors in making small-scaled dark rides popular again. I loved the ride myself and made me wish Disneyworld would instead add multiple smaller attractions in Fantasyland instead of trying to make every ride...

Disney to announce overhaul of DL Tomorrowland at D23?

The Space Mountain redo was presented as speculation in the article. I mean, even the whole piece itself kind of just sounded like pure speculation, creating a whole rumor just based off of TDL's announcement instead of an actual source. That's at least how it appeared to me while reading.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad vs Space Mountain

I just find it hard to believe anyone can think MK's Big Thunder is the best when WDW's poor maintenance practices have left that ride without a finale for so many years now unlike the other castle parks.

    Rank the Disney/Universal Orlando parks

IOA, Epcot, AK, DHS, USF, MK. Maybe it’s because I fly in from the west coast & Disneyland is my favorite park, but I just don’t really care to spend much time in MK which I consider one of the weaker castle parks. Love getting my Peoplemover rides in though. AK will be my favorite Disney park...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway SPOILER Thread

A scene similar to the end of Mystic Manor where projection mapping shows the room getting torn apart by a tornado as the cars spins around the room would be an excellent upgrade.

AMC Theater finally getting a replacement at Downtown Disney

I just remember being 10 years old during my first DTD visit in 2002 and being amazed, including the Neverland Pool at DLH. So many unique buildings & activities that reminded that we on Disney property itself like LEGO, Build a Bear, Rainforest, ESPN, & more to catch one's eye. I just have a...

News Disneyland to give Tarzan’s Treehouse a new theme

At least the Peoplemover & Tomorrowland entrance are in theme within their land, as everyday that passes their completion date is sometime tomorrow.

I'd be more worried about whatever replaces The Mummy. There have been reports of a ghost dramatically telling guests about a curse every 15 seconds.

Toy Story Hotel Planned to replace Paradise Pier Hotel?

So relieved they didn't only stick to Toy Story with this remodel.

New Orleans Square is getting Flattened

Yes, you are correct. I’m sure the lower and middle level will be untouched as traffics flows through them pretty easily. One of my favorite areas of the park to do a 360 look around, so gorgeous.

New Orleans Square is getting Flattened

There was never an elevation change, the area was flat before Fantasmic was installed like it is now. The platforms were an addition to a flat area so they were easy to remove. At least now with the viewing platforms gone, the restaurants behind them should now have an unobstructed view of ROA...

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind SPOILER Thread

I'm still able to find the video on twitter just by looking up the hashtag #cosmicrewind . Wow, that a tease. I'm very curious how the queue sets up having the guest leave the exhibit & board the with the Guardians as the left hill traveling through the Milano made me very excited.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

I may be wrong but I think it's been running on auto-pilot during the pandemic instead of guests setting it off, though good to hear if it is indeed triggered by guests now.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

The dueling coaster and the carousel are the only rumored attractions to be IP free as they will be placed in what is rumored to be a celestial/space-themed hub.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser - Guest reports from March 1 2022

There was another reviewer that showed the dark side too, Happily Evan After. It's been fun trying to puzzle all of these activities and their different storylines through YouTube haha. For instance, unlike Ordinary Adventures, he reported the digital interactive droid in everyone's' room to...

    Connections Cafe and Eatery

Same. Many aspects of Epcot's entrance reminded me of our local Burger King before the remodel, quite dated and I don't miss it. I do love how the area looked before they changed it to the 90's aesthetic though, when it had a lot more water features alongside the buildings.
