    Poll: Is Galaxy’s Edge Great(and a success)?

SWGE could have been way better for obvious reasons but I highly enjoy both of the rides in the land. Rise is amazing and since both of my rides on MF were in the pilot seat I have good memories of the ride. Sitting in front of the MF is amazing and the hummus meatball plate has become a...

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad vs Splash Mountain

At WDW, Splash by far. If it was DL, I'd probably vote BTM.

Cosmic Rewind has 2 flights of stars at Exit how dumb

Many roller coasters in general have you exit through the stairs, which this ride happens to be. Some Disney roller coasters also have you exit up the stairs instead of down (Space Mountain, Incredicoaster). There are also many Disney rides that aren't coasters that contain stairs, many already...

New Roundup Rodeo BBQ sit-down restaurant coming to TSL

This is what I'd imagine. I'm sadly not expecting anything more than cardboard cutouts to hide that box, which will be put up quickly. Seeing the inside would be a bigger indicator on it's completion.

    Universal Studios Fall From Grace

Exactly, you just get way more vacation with your theme park experience at USO these days. Volcano Bay is amazing too for those staying on property. I know some criticize it as a waterpark itself but it's such an amazing addition for onsite guests, especially with the walk being so short from...

Taika Waititi to Direct Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

I bought it in 3D 4DX for that exact reason. 😅

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

What’s not really? It’s a fact that DCA stays open an hour later. I’m not sure why you’re so bothered by the fact either. I’m sure most of us would love the parks to stay open later.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

DCA has never closed at midnight sadly. The fact that this park has managed to stay open later than a huge park like Epcot or DHS is telling though. I said every hour counts with nightfall, so that's one more whole hour to enjoy night ambience at DCA on this summer night.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

One of my biggest disappointments at WDW is their parks don't stay open till midnight. Every hour of night is crucial, especially when limited in the summer. Plus you got that summer Florida heat. WDW is much more enjoyable in the winter for us night folks. Staying past midnight at Disneyland...

    News Tomorrowland love

I don't disagree at all. But you can express disappointment without putting down others. Fans are allowed to enjoy updates without the assumptions. One can still enjoy the update and have these "standards" you speak of.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Part of the reasons I love my winter trips to any theme park as the sunset & night ambiance always add more magic.

    News Tomorrowland love

Yes, why wouldn't COP fans be excited? People being happy about updates (as they should) doesn't mean everything else you said isn't true. But let fans celebrate today. As slow as Disney moves, we'll have plenty of days or decades to join in on the hate train and get Disney-slapped across our faces.

California’s Great America Closing…In Eleven Years

So bummed. I live pretty close to the park and usually manage to visit for either Halloween or Christmas season each year before covid hit. I was especially happy when Cedar Fair bought GA as I knew we'd get a decent Halloween event in the Bay Area (don't care much for SFDK's Halloween event).

How to make the SM retheme work at WDW

They're so good! I just got back from NOLA Monday for my third visit and brought 7 bags of beignets for my coworkers and myself. No regrets carrying that big bag back to California! lol

How to make the SM retheme work at WDW

Easy and budget-friendly solution IMO. Just keep the NOLA retheme behind the Frontierland Railroad Station and retheme those building back there to PATF merch and food. That way Frontierland stays Frontierland, we'd just have to accept we can see Mama Odie's Tree from all over the park. I'm sure...

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind SPOILER Thread

I agree, pretty disappointed that this was the big bang. Maybe it looks better in person but still, this was the big selling point. Probably my only gripe with the attraction besides the lackluster empty last scene.

News Disneyland to give Tarzan’s Treehouse a new theme

Good to hear! Honestly, Project Stardust absolutely upgraded Adventureland. Not only is it so much easier to walk though Adventureland since they moved the strollers out of the main pathway, but it's nice to have multiple places to grab a chair & enjoy the tropical land now. Love getting a seat...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Well define pledge. Did Disney pledge pledge? Or is it more of a Amber Heard $7 million donation pledge?

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind SPOILER Thread

The Guardians grab the generator immediately after the backwards launch & continue to have it the remainder of the ride. It’s the first screen projection scene & Rocket yells “got it” or something similar. Which probably explains why the backwards launch feature cosmic lights instead of a time...
