News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

And to Space Mountain as well. I believe the earliest concepts for Space Mountain were drawn up in '64. Walt embraced coasters very much so. As long as there was a good theme and story that enveloped it.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Yeah, one of my favorites. Never fails to get me nervous before getting on, and always makes me laugh from start to finish. One of those coasters that really makes you say - "Wow!"

    Meal budgeting

I'd say on avg with no alcohol, each QS meal is about $15, a few snacks is another $15, plus the TS meal is probably in the $45 range. That's $90 per day per person. So $360 a day would equate to $1440 for the trip. I think it's always best to overestimate than under when it comes to spending...

    Favorite animatronic?

Apologies to anybody who may have already mentioned this one, but the La Tanière du Dragon AA underneath the castle in Paris is something that is a sight to behold. I hope to see it firsthand one day! Ooooh, I forgot about that creature in JttCotE!!! It is downright creepy and awesome...

How much does Disney's music improve your experience?

Music is a very important part of my life and has always resonated with me in profound ways. And Disney park music is no different. So many cues or pieces of music at the parks can instantly stir up a myriad of emotions for me. I listen to a lot of park music on a daily basis and it just makes...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I still hope for world peace some day. Still hope they'll bring back lime Starbursts. Still hope we can all use electric only cars and trucks 10-15 years from now. Still hope that Spectro-Magic will come back in some brand new form some day. Still hope I'll one day win the Lotto jackpot. But, I...

News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

Check out this video from the '11 quake in Japan and you can see how important steel and it's ability to bend and flex in a major earthquake truly is. A concrete or stone building would pretty much crack and completely crumble and fall to the ground in the same situation. Skycrapers - Japan...

    Favorite park "nap zones"

Carousel of Progress, The American Adventure, Impressions de France, Living with the Land and the WDW Railroad are all good ones. The Tiki Room and the PeopleMover as well. Probably forgetting a few more.

    It's about a 10-minute walk. Super close. Maybe 1/3 of a mile?

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I loved when Twisted Colossus opened a few years ago at Magic Mtn - it's basically my favorite coaster now at that park. This Steel Vengeance is about 75-80ft taller, 15 MPH faster and a steeper 1st drop by 10 degrees though! Looks awesome!

    Walking between Resorts

Yeah, I guess I should say legally AND safely lol I wouldn't want to walk in the grass or sides of the road in the day, let alone at night. Not only because of the cars speeding by, but there definitely could be some critters lurking.

Please, Disney Gods let this crowd calendar be right. lol

Yes!!! I am sooo excited about going this year since it is AFTER Labor Day! I'm feeling really good about the crowd levels! Especially after each day I check TP's levels and see that they are over-predicting what is actually seen. Let's hope we both have excellent trips with light crowds...

Please, Disney Gods let this crowd calendar be right. lol

Yeah, I went last year from Aug 26 - Sep 3 and the entire trip was fairly light in crowds except for the very last day - which was Labor Day Sunday. It was packed at the MK! But the rest of my trip was awesome. I am going after Labor Day this year, so couple those crowd level predictions with...

    Favorite animatronic?

Hahaha Yeah, I was thinking that when I was looking at the pics you posted. Like the other versions are awful in comparison side-by-side with the Paris one.

    Walking between Resorts

Yeah. For anyone wondering how you can tell what is legal or allowed or not - you can basically tell which walkways/paths are legal and which resorts are intended to connect if they have a designated crosswalk on the highway along the sidewalk's path. Both the Shades of Green path and the AS...

    Walking between Resorts

Shades of Green is also a very safe and totally legal walk from the Poly and GF. Just to clarify, you basically just walk to the very western edge of the Poly if you're coming from the GF to get to the SoG resort.
