The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

Your quick effort uses almost identical fonts, perhaps minus a bit of the drop shadow and beveling that the real banner has (which don't add much anyway due to the lack of contrast). It has way more interest and visual impact, and the bar at the bottom is placed properly below the lettering...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

It's not a trend though. There is no modern aspect to the design or layout of those banners, and they do not match the other 50th anniversary branding that has gone up save the font of the 50 and that the 50 appears to be gold. The new castle paint has significant contrast and brightness. The...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

Not to mention how hard it is to read from a distance. It kind of fails in all the things a sign should do.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

That's great for a certain segment of the population, but a not insignificant number of guests just want to ride rides and aren't very interested in things like meandering, watching shows, or shopping for expensive bubble wands and cupcakes. There are also people who are actively angry that they...

    Is park hopper worth it?

They may extend the park hours as your trip gets closer. I don't believe Disney formalizes hours until 6 weeks out.

Now that indoor masking is back are you cancelling your next trip?

Unfortunately from trip reports and wait times, it does not sound like the crowds are as small as last Sept.

Does Raya and the Last Dragon have a future in the Disney Parks?

I don't think I've seen much Ralph merch. They do/did have a M&G in Epcot though. Onward was a slightly bored/slightly frightened from my kid, so we've only watched it the once. She was also afraid of Coco, although she's since gotten over that after learning more about what Dia de los Muertos...

Does Raya and the Last Dragon have a future in the Disney Parks?

Raya is influenced by Southeast Asian cultures, though. That's like putting Coco in the American Pavilion because they're on the same continent. Also Elsa and Anna's M&G is in Epcot. Raya was released in theaters. And it was only released to Disney+ as premier access at first. (At $30 a pop...

Will we see more of Soul in the Disney parks moving forward?

I think Joe's inclusion is rather a sad reminder of how few Black characters are in Disney's portfolio. Beautiful film with wonderful music, though

Does Raya and the Last Dragon have a future in the Disney Parks?

It amazes me how many people on this site are rabid Disney fans but don't actually like any of the media that Disney makes now. Raya is a good movie. It's no Frozen or Moana in terms of catchiness. I'd put it as solid mid-tier Disney. I don't see a big new ride themed to Raya. I think in the...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Thanks for passing this on. It's interesting to see one person's take all written out in one place like this. It certainly sounds complicated and will, if implemented, befuzzle many non-regulars.

Now that indoor masking is back are you cancelling your next trip?

I would be happy as a vaccinated adult to go and mask. As is, we're supposed to go to Disneyland this fall and are watching things closely because I have a kiddo under 12. I probably wouldn't take her to Florida right now.

    Answer to Epic Universe?

Agreed. I played Mario party and Donkey Kong on the Switch with my kiddo over the weekend. I was a little disappointed with the Yoshi ride and the Mario Kart ride from YouTube videos. Holding out hope that the Donkey Kong area expansion is equally well done but with a bit higher expectations...

What would it take for you to NOT go back?

There were some site plans posted in some places last year, but obviously plans can change. I haven't seen a construction update in about a month. At that point I believe sources said Super Nintendo World was likely to be the first built.

Okay, Who’s Booking at Star Wars: Galactic Cruiser?

I feel like I'm setting myself up for criticism here, but, on our last trip, we did the Star Wars dessert party. We all really enjoyed it. I sent my hubby the galactic starcruiser stuff and he says "so better than the dessert party for two days. Awesome." Now he never went to Disney as a kid...

Jungle Cruise movie and it's effect on attraction

Pirates is a multi-movie franchise. The Jungle Cruise is just one movie. Way too early to think about anything. Thankfully they didn't foul up Haunted Mansion, and I don't think they're going to head down that route for Jungle Cruise either.

    Park Hopping?

Maybe I'm reading too much into things, but since the new Disneyland Magic Key program specifies a number of park reservation holds, I'm going to guess that there and at WDW, park reservations and park hopper time limits are going to be around for while.
