"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

I could see someone at WDW wanting to use the Spiderman technology, even if they can't use that franchise. Of course, I've not heard Spiderman getting many rave reviews.

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

That's a really interesting perspective. Do you think the BATB ride or MM suffers from the same issue?

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

Right, but they were developed with the intent of being a multipark investment to spread out the costs. Spiderman is another example, although obviously that particular ride won't be at WDW

Is the announcement of Nemo coming back related? PW plot plus Nemo would've provided a very large footprint for dreams.

But what if, and I'm not making any promises, but let's just say hypothetically...there's a wookie driver?

Is it worth ? (Holiday season)

If distance to your room is a big consideration, you could get an idea of distances using Touring Plans' room finder tool. Also if walking is difficult, have you considered renting a scooter? https://touringplans.com/hotel_maps/the-villas-at-disneys-grand-floridian-resort-and-spa

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

I concede to those 4 being unique. I would also say that the Splash retheme (if and when) is another multi-park endeavor. Perhaps saying there is little interest in non-clone, WDW-only rides was an exaggeration on my part. You could also argue that the Star Wars hotel is a unique attraction, as...

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

Per another thread: @Magic Feather says "While not finalized, Prime's replacement is DAK's next major-ish project. They had some huge dreams for the plot, but they appear to be shrinking. Original plans were for an E, now I'm not so sure. Construction for the replacement itself though likely...

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

To each their own. Personally if they have to clone things, I'd like to see an entire Mysterious Island somewhere in the U.S., but it doesn't seem like that's a possibility.

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

It's completely different from the Haunted Mansion, though, and it seems that Disney has little interest in creating rides for WDW that aren't clones because it makes it cheaper. MM is also not IP-based, which may bolster some people's feelings about it as they feel there needs to be some...

"Mystic Manor" destined for Animal Kingdom?

I don't really care what ride system it is, but another dark ride would be nice in Animal Kingdom. I'm honestly a bit surprised they aren't going to just clone the Indiana Jones rollercoaster (perhaps drop the Indy tie-in and make is dino-themed or something) and put it in place of hurl-a-whirl...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Anxiety-related syncope sucks. Fainting can be really scary, and that causes fear that just leads to more fainting. But there are ways to mitigate it. I would encourage your relatives to have their shots in a private office vs. a mass vaccination site if possible. I got my Moderna shots at a...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Fainting after having a shot is not uncommon and is in no way linked to the vaccine itself. I pass out every time I have blood drawn, although thankfully shots are a little more mild for me personally...

Is it worth ? (Holiday season)

It's close, but you don't walk to Animal Kingdom. You have to ride a bus. Unlike Disneyland, walking from hotel to any Park is somewhat unusual. Disney busses are the primary transportation from hotel to parks.

Is it worth ? (Holiday season)

If you're eligible for MWR tickets, are you eligible for Shades of Green? That would save a lot of money, and it's very close to Magic Kingdom. Obviously it would require transport to the other parks, but via bus it is not a long trip. https://www.shadesofgreen.org/ (Personally we often take a...
