    NOJ horror stories

NOJ was calm for me but at grad nite my co-worker got punched in the face as hundreds of kids rushed the already full ferryboat and forced there way on. They were jumping over fences and trampling the bushes. There was probably 1000 people on the boat which only holds 600. We had to call in...

    Monorail to Wilderness Lodge

30 minutes is a pretty good travel time for that trek! We love the boats.

Camping in my car at the Fort

As someone who camps once a month, I have not heard this is not allowed. I also wouldn't care. I've even seen plenty people do it. Now personally I wouldn't because I think it would be hot and uncomfortable. What I do find an issue with is the people who book the fort for the benefits and...

Table for 4, but party of 6 at CRT?

We tried 5 people on a reservation for 4 because that's all we could get at CBT and we're denied. Don't try your luck. Keep trying to get that table for 6.

Would you be a cast member after you retire?

It was the best job! If it paid more I would have done it full time. And yes it was all college kids and retirees. I liked MK because there was variety in the different boats and I just can't stand the slow moving friendships. Now I do have to say the morning was much more pleasent because...

Bay Lake & Seven Seas Lagoon Swimming??

I would not be worried. The water is chillier right now and bacteria doesn't really care for that. Even during the summer I personally wouldn't worry.

Bay Lake & Seven Seas Lagoon Swimming??

Being a native Floridian, we've swam in the local lakes forever and still do. I also remember in 2006 when I was working at WDW we had to divert watercraft service for a triathlon that swam the water part in the Seven Seas Lagoon. So they did still allow swimming in the semi recent past.

Hoop de doo or Backyard BBQ?

I enjoyed them both. The BBQ is geared more for younger kids, so that may be a good option now while they are younger. But you won't go wrong with either choice!

    Busch Gardens

I've had a BG annual pass for years and years. I love the park! There is a lot to do for young and old and rarely gets too crowded. I love Disney but the value at BG can't be beat.

For former Cast Members at Walt Disney World. What's your favorite memory of Walt Disney World?

My favorite memory was one night after closing I was driving my boat back to dry dock and a crane was lifting a huge fully lit and constructed Christmas tree from backstage over the MK buildings and plopped it right down on mainstreet.

How late are animals out at Animal Kingdom Lodge?

They usually have cast members walking around with night vision goggles so you can see the animals when it's dark out.

    Subway at Magic Kingdom?

There is also a cafeteria behind main street and tomorrowland, and another one at TTC. The food was pretty decent and the prices suprisingly low.

I've returned from a Carnival Cruise and now can compare.

We've been on 4 Carnival Cruises and 1 Disney cruise. I enjoyed the Disney cruise and the entertainment was definitely more family friendly but the food and our wait staff was terrible. I've run into 0 of the issues described here on Carnival. The staff we've dealt with has always been good...

    Best WDW Boat Transportation

That is very true! The ferries and cruisers have A/C too.

    Best WDW Boat Transportation

That's my retirement plan too! I was lucky enough to have already done this when I was in college, so I can't wait to get back to it. MK boats for me though!! I love piloting the 3 different ones and how open they are. The Friendships are too slow, enclosed, and have funny controls.
