DVC studios and villas: rack rate vs points rate?

I just contacted them through Mouseowners in a DM. The form had an option for them to answer if they were okay to receive them or not. The mods know that this was made and approved its post.

DVC studios and villas: rack rate vs points rate?

Mouseowners does have a spreadsheet of owners willing to rent. I contacted someone on there and was able to secure my upcoming June reservation that way. My December 2021 reservation was secured through an owner I contacted from DIS's rental board.

DVC studios and villas: rack rate vs points rate?

Yep. I have rented points from $11pp to $20pp. The $11pp were points about to expire and the $20pp was the only time I went through a broker since my dad wanted to stay at CCV, which turned out to be my least favorite resort. I also had to pay a fee on top of that, so I will not go with that...

DVC studios and villas: rack rate vs points rate?

For the last four years, I have rented points for studios only. I have never paid more than $320/night. This includes staying during Christmas week in 2020 & 2021. I currently have a 15 night stay at BWV booked for June and I paid $240/night. I am an AP holder and could get room discounts...

any word when we can start buying annual passes again?

Agree. We have been out-of-state APers for three years now. We usually visit WDW 3+ weeks each year (one week during Christmas and two+ weeks during June), so APs are a must for us and work out fine with the dining and merchandise discounts. I have yet to use a AP room discount as usually I...

    Confusion about AAA tickets

I didn't realize they were selling tickets with Genie+ already added. I had a look on Union Plus, and there is a minor savings to be had over Disney (around $65 if adding Genie + all five days). So, if you are in an union, you can purchase them there too. I have only ever purchased Medieval...

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

We had dinner there in December and we watched Earth change from daytime to nighttime. That was cool.

Has Anyone Ever Been Banned From Disney for Posting Videos of Their Experiences on YouTube? Can They?

I have no idea if it is open anymore as I moved from PA in 2014. In 2011, my husband, son, and a bunch of Milton Hershey students, who were on campus for the Christmas holiday, got stuck on the cable cars for over an hour in winter weather. My husband still laughs when he thinks about it as he...

News Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours coming for resort guests

Fair enough. I figured so. I was busy before the trip, so I missed the announcement.

News Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours coming for resort guests

When I was visiting in December, the early entry was a full hour. I was surprised, but it was every day of our trip.

13 year old - sit down dinner

My 13-year-old wanted the spaghetti at dinner and we were fine with it--at least he ate. His meal came with a drink and dessert. He also got the trading cards. My son is autistic and he really wanted them since he is into anything space-related. He has YouTube channel in which he talks about...

13 year old - sit down dinner

I guess that they didn't give us a problem at Space 220 since my son's kid meal was nearly the same price as the two items from the lounge menu that my husband and I ordered---the chicken and waffles and the cauliflower appetizers, which added up to $35 compared to his $29 meal. The server...

I have too, especially at the Rose & Crown. I cannot eat three big pieces of fish.

WDW Food Pictures Of The Day Part II

Sorry, I didn't realize my other response posted. I am a teacher and the bell rung for my next class and I thought I closed it out without posting. The milkshake was really good. I gave most of my cake to my son since it was too sweet for me. My husband got the holiday one with the red velvet...

Yes, I liked it better than my husband's, which was the seasonal one.

13 year old - sit down dinner

My son is the same age. I ordered him the $29 kids meal at the Space 220 lounge (spaghetti). They charged us $29 for the meal. If you have a lounge reservation, you have a choice to do prix fixe or order off the lounge menu. While we opted for the prix fixe for our son, my husband and I...

You're going to pay to ride.

I agree with you on the extra hours. I was there from 12/18 until 12/27. I didn't purchase Genie+ and took advantage of the hour in the AM and the two nights that had extra hours for the deluxe guests. I rode everything I wanted to ride and still had time at the resort for a midday break.

50th Anniversary milkshake at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. It was good, but way too much for me.

You're going to pay to ride.

The only thing I like about the Lightning Lane is that now when I use a DAS, I no longer get the sneers and accusations like when there was no fastpass lines.

Really bad show at Rise of the Resistance

No. I just did not want to stay since it started raining shortly after we just built two droids.
