I mostly agree, although I do wish they would keep the portion of the river by HM and permanently dock the riverboat. Especially if one could walk on and off the boat at leisure. TSI is no big loss. What will tick me off is a Cars mini land with little or none of the mountain forest landscape...

Cars will still be cool in 30 years because cars will be. Kids dig transportation.

It could be converted pretty easily into a snack spot/gift shop though, and a pretty cool thing to walk around on, even if it's stationary.

Agreed, the dock and boat should remain. It would not be difficult to move the outdoor queue for HM to create a walkway between it and the remaining portion of the river toward Villain land.

Spare me. There is water all around the hub. There are 2 outdoor water rides. The rendering (again I know, it's just a rendering) has a waterfall. And there is a giant lagoon right in front of the park entrance. Nostalgia for lost attractions is one thing. To complain that MK will not have...

I get your apprehension, and when it's all over the area could look like a horrible, Cars version of TSL. But the renderings, again as shown, appear to focus more on the mountain/forest aesthetic of the Rocky Mountain West and not the Cars themselves, except the Piston mountain of course.

Big Thunder should give us some beautiful views of the construction zone.

If Villain land is beyond Big Thunder, I don't see the top half of ROA lasting either.

Unpopular take here I'm sure, but I'm not mourning the loss of TSI or ROA. Filling the entire river in seems a bit much - keeping a stretch by Haunted Mansion would have allowed the Belle to at least stay docked, perhaps converting it to a shop/snack spot, but I honestly won't miss it that much...

I do feel bad for WDW fans going to the next D23. We’re not getting any new stuff announced for a few years until they get through this list.

I think the whole launch bay building is done for. This will instead be the gate into Monstropolis and the coaster goes where that office building is, with a walkway connecting to Sunset by RNRC.

For a long time I thought the natural entrance to VL would be to the right of HM, but now I’m leaning toward the area left of enchanted tales. Disney will like the idea better of a transition from FL to villains rather than LS. As far as attractions, a simple villains show multiple times a day...
