No, it is you that is misunderstanding. Notice Walt's use of the word "only". What Walt was saying is that there has to be a mix of rides. He isn't saying that all rides have to appeal to everyone, but that you have to have adult rides as well as kiddie rides.

I think you misunderstood me. Notice where I said IP driven rides are the money makers(last part of my post). I agree RAT and the others are well known to the masses, hence they are safe bets for Disney.
