New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

🤷‍♂️ There’s only so much demand for LL’s and G+ So if they want to keep standby lines the same then they’ll have to lower G+ and LL prices

I have heard of it but I’m not sure if they could right now or not. With everything changing, I’d say it can’t hurt to try and find out.

Are you a pass holder or no? If you are a pass holder it will be good for 30 days starting with the day your trip starts. This one I am 100% confident in. If you are not, it will be good for the length of your ticket. On another forum there are a lot of people posting their results and this...

They also should invest in louder horns for the ECV’s. It will enhance the experience of all guests trying to leave after the MK fireworks.

It would be interesting to see lightning lanes and standby lines all on virtual queues. They’re already doing it / have done it with several rides in the past. Guest satisfaction would surely go up for the people who understand the system well, and down for those who don’t. But then there’s...

Not quite though. When they announced the upcoming changes, they immediately changed the rule to 30 days from 60 days for trips prior to May 20th. Trips after may 20, the rule is supposed to be it lasts the length of your ticket, or 120 days if you have an AP.

I wonder if this isn’t quite correct The Disney website states that DAS right now is only good for 30 days after the date of registration. But I’ve also seen people say that the passes they’ve been isssued have been good specifically for the length of their tickets. I was only throwing this...

Okay But the new rules don’t even exist yet. So no one is yet being subjected to them.

How would they know? It won’t start for almost another month.

I don't think there's a court out there that's going to buy that argument. I doubt Disney is worried about it in the slightest.

In June of 2021, the lightning lanes seemed very empty to me. The few people I did see going through them were what led to me learning about the existence of DAS in the first place. I think a lot of people probably have a similar experience. "I thought fast pass was gone? How are those people...

No, it was strictly based on the number of people entering the LL queue The entire estimate hinged on how many G+ reservations they thought Disney was distributing for the ride per hour. And the reason for estimating 300 was not given.

I don’t think this description is accurate. He said he wasn’t looking at light colors. Also, there’s no such thing as someone entering a LL without tapping in.

For most people, FP+ didn’t work well at all. It’s the worst thing Disney has ever done.

Totally agree. Disney could limit DAS passes to 3 rides a day and be just fine. The average park guest only rides 3 rides a day. Any DAS user with 3 DAS passes could easily experience 3 rides with longer lines and a few shorter line attractions. They could probably limit DAS usage to 2 rides...

Dark days indeed FP+ was such a huge downgrade from the original fast pass

Which disabilities is Disney not accommodating though? I’m not looking to belittle people’s needs like some here but it sure seems that Disney is working to accommodate everyone. They just might not offer you the holy grail of accommodations, that very few people need but everyone would love...
