One person out of a group occasionally using this is nothing like groups of 6+ routinely using the lightning lane together. People want to be with their groups. It’s hard to imagine return to queue being a huge deal.

I think a lot of people are pretty rightly nervous about trying to leave and return to a queue. I don’t think Disney wants to make that seem like an appealing and easy to use option.

So DAS users wanting to ride the ride once = 50% of capacity? It seems more than plausible that the average DAS user would put in to ride it at least twice right after it opened though. So what happens then?

Well if they’re moving to the standby line, they’re no longer in 2 lines at once. And most, if not all of them, won’t routinely have the patience to stand in line for the hotter rides the way they “wait” for them now with DAS.

One leads to the other Standby lines can’t remain as long as they are without significantly increasing G+ usage.
