What's deflated your WDW enthusiasm the most: Pandemic or Genie+

Adding $15 per day took it from affordable to "far too expensive"?

    Biergarten Seating??

I don't like it either. Since it's just me and my wife, we usually end up with a family of 6. It feels really awkward.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

"Revenue stream" and "money grab" have altogether different connotations. The use of "money grab", in the original post was quite intentional. "Revenue stream" could not be substituted without entirely changing the tone, and intention, of the post.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

So anytime Disney adds a kiosk, it's a money grab? What if they add a new restaurant? Is that a money grab too? Unless you were frolicking in the splash pad quite regularly, I'm fairly certain that adding a new kiosk that may end up serving/selling something that people actually enjoy, will be...

Disney World can Kiss my grits...

I don't make a ton of money, and I'm still going. It's just going to cost a bit more. And if you have zero to little spendable income, then you weren't going before the increases. This was not the tipping point.

Disney World can Kiss my grits...

I'm not really sure I understand people saying they are "being priced out". Should I translate that to, "I no longer find enough value to justify the cost"? Sure, there have been some price increases, so of which are going to be optional, but I doubt that those are the tipping point between...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Pfizer and Moderna have both been show to offer a high level of protection against the variants (including Delta). Even if the Johnson and Johnson vaccine isn't as effective, Only 4% of those vaccinated in the U.S chose it.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

The problem in the UK is that they were taking a "wait and see approach" to second dosing. If your stat is correct, it likely reflects individuals that had only received one dose. The second dose is what is said to offer greater protection against the variants.

Masks and Social Distancing Go Away in WDW

I think the mask requirement will be gone by the fall. Once the vaccine is readily available to everyone, I can't imagine that a requirement (that impacts business) is going to remain in place to protect those who chose not to vaccinate.
