hmm.. I think my 30k miles and zero breakdowns say differently.
Panel gaps issues yes, mechanical issues no.
It's easy to forget there are 10's of thousands of amazing people working at these companies. You'll never find me defending elon though.
EDIT: elaborating that I meant I’ll never...
This company is incredible. They'll re-theme rides that don't need retheming (dinosaur), yet continue to ignore rides / areas that need re-furbishing (figment).
I liked the water tower idea til I saw the tiara, like it's modern Disney's way of being "magical" which is fitting because it's cheap, bizarre and out of place IMO
I don't think it's harsh I mean i'd like to know why Marvel and Disney movies are costing over 200 million dollars to make, and are still subpar; why major theme park decisions are consistently anti-consumer (and incoherent) and how Bob could possibly be so blind to it all. He, his hand picked...
Thank you! I very much appreciate your perspective and I think others will as well.
My daughter is a little bit of a firecracker. She doesn't like sitting still and if she doesn't get her way it comes out in the standard terrible 2s way. We shaped our trip out to fall more towards her...
I was just watching a freshbaked episode and learned that the signals had been down and I guess the electronics for it was stored in the building that caught fire? I had no idea. They were working when I was there. They were running at least 3 trains.
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend and enjoyed some time to yourselves and your families.
My mom and dad invited us (my fiance, me, and our 2 year old) to a Disneyland trip this last weekend, which was 11/18 to 11/21. Originally they wanted to go in October but we...
Unrelated but I just went up to Flagstaff and used chargepoint a couple of times. Some of the stations are paid for by the property manager (city of Flagstaff, hotel, etc). They worked half the time. 1 charger was ICE'd on the first day (hotel didn't care and said "oh well"), and on the 2nd day...
Personally I would pay $194 just to see San-froyoskyo, or stand in awe of the brilliant incredicoaster, or even the beautiful toxic waste management facility.
Maybe with our extra dollars they can re-imagine the Haunted Mansion to be a tour of Tiana's friend's mansion instead. It'd be perfect!
Anyone who refuses to make even the slightest criticism towards Disney, is no Disney blogger / analyst to me. I have a handful of criticism towards my favorite products, but not moreso than I have towards the blatant mess that is Disney.
It's sad really. To see something we all hold so dear in our hearts fall so far from grace, and the top dogs at fault continue to fail with little consequence.
I'd rather Disney NOT commit to doing anything new or investing more under their current management. their changes tend to remove something that was well loved, and IMO replace with something inferior.
Not all, but most of it. IP synergy is their biggest priority.
As you may or may not have heard, DIS stock had closed today at it's lowest point in roughly 9 years at $82 a share.
If I remember correctly, in the last earnings call, theme park revenue was as high as ever but attendance was lower. However, we read complaints all the time of slow...
I feel like the majority of the blame should land on the shoulders of the board. It's crazy how little entertainment experience they all have.
