Each store would need to have a policy, but the district as a whole would need some way to mitigate the crowds lining up to get into said stores/ 1/4th capacity restaurants.

To gain admission to Disney, you'll need both a doctor's note as well as signing a waiver not to blame the park if you get sick. All kept on your magic band along with your security clearance, next of kin and food allergies.

    Any truth in this

Or just let in 200 of the super-rich in at a time. Each guest gets their own suite of CMs to disinfect in front of and behind. Disney World finally becomes Westworld.

This is why limiting the number of people in any store/Walmart/Target or Disney for that matter has its limitations. Standing outside in a line waiting to get in - if there's more people than there is room, people won't necessarily self-regulate. We may come to point where we might have to start...

And this is why Ayn Rand does not have an attraction based on her IP at WDW.

Can you imagine thousands of people sitting in their cars in the MK parking lot with their engines running/AC on waiting for their boarding pass to get into the park when another party leaves...? I know it is logistically impossible, but you never know what people will allow themselves to put up...

All brilliant ideas that could keep ANY retail business thriving. The downside is as the summer rolls in, these parking lots are going to be baking in the sun. I'll be dreaming of the wonderful Disney switchbacks with their fans and misters...

Each park could have its own medical center themed to proper IP! with character interaction (at a distance)! I think the Stars Wars theme medical bay would be a huge hit.

With more folks home, perhaps the crowds will naturally be thinner. I hear Publix and Walmart are constructing plexiglass barriers for cashier safety and demarcating 6 feet in between those in line, but there's still nothing you can do if you happen to be in a grocer with 200 of your neighbors...

Wouldn't the whole park need to be on a virtual queue system - just to get in? If individual attractions have virtual queues, that's cool - but then you have packs of people waiting (people eater rides have become people snackers at this point). How do you keep the throngs waiting six feet...

I'm a little fuzzy on AP structure (normally would renew in mid April, but now it will be allowed in mid May?). Although it's tempting to think crowds will be thin when WDW reopens, I am not altogether sure we won't be guinea pigs for the inevitable new guidelines that will be brought out. I...

The hardest thing to give up is control. Giving up control is akin, to many people, as giving in or just giving up. But giving up control is sometimes the only thing you CAN do. You cannot control what the economy will or will not do. You CAN control the possibilities of either getting the virus...

And to repay @marni1971 for all his inspirational work and to help entertain him while he is safe at home, let's all make videos of our adventures in quarantine. (make sure there is IP integrated!) 😱

I laud Disney's attempt at cleanliness - but the ratio of guests to staff is wildly out of synch. I am not appalled when I show up at Epcot in the middle of the day and walk past overflowing trashcans in the parking lot - I understand they can only do what they can do. But I believe there's...

Besides seeing a much cleaner park, I believe behavior of fellow guests will be in scrutiny - by Disney and by other guests. There's behavior that won't be tolerated and actively discouraged. Any place that amasses a crowd will need a better plan. Unfortunately, all I can think of is Disney will...

Down here in Tampa Bay they are waffling between "safe at home" and let businesses that can follow protocol stay open. There's also curfew on the table - although with nothing open between 11pm - 5am anyway, what's the point? Strictly public safety? Fear of 3rd shift house parties?

Not so much meterologists, but the weather channels that make their money off of views need the sturm und drang. Does WHO need clickbait articles to get folks to listen? (I'm honestly asking because I don't know.)
