I'm tempted to agree with this. The big thing that sucks is they built this park to replace Wet N Wild, which was the 4th most popular water park in the USA. Going to that high of a price structure would send all of Universals previous guests to other, competing parks. I really don't understand...

Nobody is saying there is no problem... the entire argument is the problem is misidentified. Capacities of the slides and perhaps the number of people they should be allowing into the park in its current state seem agreeable that its a huge issue. We don't know the real design capacity of the...

Yes, the problem is if you don't remove the ability for people to be in another line while doing the less popular slides, you are just adding even more people to the line for the more popular ones. Thats why people can't be in multiple lines... every additional line someone can be on, the longer...

Tapu Tapu does not require you to wait by the tapping station while you are waiting. You are free to roam the park. You can utilize the wave pool, lounge in the chairs or cabanas, go to the lazy rivers, go to the kids play area, get something to eat, go to the bathroom, etc... Interestingly, if...

I'm sorry I didn't know I was going to Disney until the morning of the visit. Disney's system requires more planning and has its pros AND CONS. If you don't plan in advance and they're busy, you're stuck spending even more of your day in lines. Unable to do anything else while in lines. I've...

You keep saying this, but you can't explain yourself. How would having standby queues with lines that are 3-4 hours long for a slide improve the situation? The slides are all operating as fast as the ops can load them... they aren't sitting waiting for people to show up while there is a 3 hour...

keep in mind the improvement we've seen over the past week. Another month and it seems it will really be 100% If you got park to park you can visit it in the morning and then move over to studios

At VB, if you arrived early and got in right at opening, the wait times weren't so bad, and there were some slides with no wait time for a period. And while you say you were willing to wait 3x as long as your 1 hour wait, the actual wait times were 6x as long later in the day... long enough that...

Can you explain how standby lines would fix any issue at all? The issue is capacity of the rides... how does adding lines fix the capacity? Its not like Tapu Tapu caused the rides to sit idle at all... its purely capacity and operational issues. There may be some confusion about the system as...

Without tapu tapu, you'd be trapped on a line for the same 3 hours, without being able to go to the wave pool, or eating, or going to the slide. The concept of tapu tapu is to allow you to do other things while waiting in lines, not allow you to wait in multiple lines at once. If they did that...

Yeah, chlorine doesn't quite work like that. The chlorine levels of the water would not need to be significantly changed, the feeder system might need to add larger amount of chlorine, but probably not, as typically chlorine's worst enemy is the sun.

As someone who has been hit by someone's stuff flying off of them on the coaster, I'd recommend storing it.

I'm sure Universal has doubling their existing facilities on their long term plan, so they are more comparable to at least what Disney has today. They bought the land to do it. As the demand comes, they'll build it. It is probably just gonna take like 20+ years to get there.

    4th Gate General (Rumors/News/Speculation)

The same project is proposed using light rail in place of maglev now. Plus the company that wants to build it still wants maglev, its just the airport saying no to maglev (for seemingly no reason, I don't know why they care)

    4th Gate General (Rumors/News/Speculation)

I wonder what the chances are they'll make it part of a larger transit system. Their proposed transit route lines up fairly close with where the proposed Orlando Maglev route ends, and if it just follows Pointe Plaza Ave for the 2000 ft or so it could be the same system. That would give...
