The SSE lights, water pageant, and monorail lights should have been 3rd tier additions for the 50th. The fact that several posters keep mentioning them as the best part of the celebration is just sad.

MK needs attraction capacity. They need to open all the shuttered or part time eating places like Tomorrowland Terrace, Tortuga, Diamond Horseshoe, Aunt Polly’s, etc. They have plenty of places to eat. They just keep half of them closed in MK. Build an attraction for Stitch.

@MisterPenguin Valid. Heading from FW to WS, it always tempted me to abandon the central path and cut over by the Odyssey to get to the Mexico side of WS. By some weird trick of architecture or something in the space-time continuum, either way you take is longer than the one you don’t take.

Yeah, I’ve walked through Epcot a ton and never once though, “this would be so much better without that big fountain in the way for 30 seconds.”

Huge loss for the parks. HS is a mess with stores closed, no Fantasmic, no streetmosphere. All these things spread out crowds, and their loss is very noticeable in a park like HS that doesn’t have a ton of attractions to begin with.

Pretty much zero based on recent openings. They seem to have replaced soft openings for the public with early previews for AP’s, DVC members, etc.

@marni1971 , glad to see you posting with some regularity after seeming to vanish for a bit. I understand your reasons for not wanting to get into what is or isn’t coming, but I equally miss your tidbits on the history of the parks and what might have been.

If memory serves, that wasn’t the smelly place. It was in the hallway behind Club Cool that you could cut through to get to Land and Seas.

As someone lucky enough to experience Epcot in the 80’s, there’s not enough time left in the day to list all the mistakes of the last 2 decades or so.

Tomorrowland is a half finished mess with unused and underutilized attraction and dining space and old attractions that don’t really belong, but hey, we got a purple wall.

The beatings will continue until morale improves - Bob Chapek to customers of his theme parks, probably.

Pretty sure a lot of these ships are too big to go through Panama. They’d have to go all the way down around South America.

They plan to borrow some from the parking lot side of SSE if need arises.
