I agree completely. What I can tell you is that the 50th merchandise is pretty hot down here. World Of Disney was a madhouse just a few minutes after opening this morning.

They still have a pretty good selection of it at the Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. I literally just bought some of it a few hours ago. However I know that doesn’t help those that aren’t at WDW and trying to get it online.

I don’t get it either or the “book report” reference. For a park that has half the dark rides of the West coast version of Fantasyland at this point, just enjoy it.

Yes! It almost makes me wonder if Disney had something like this planned but they just couldn’t get it done due to COVID…

The Disneyland box set that they put together for their 50th anniversary in 2005 included 6 CDs of full attraction ride throughs, plus a vinyl release in the same box set of one of the first Disneyland LPs. Something similar would be awesome 😍

Tony’s. Never understood the hate. I mean, it helps that Lady and the Tramp is my favorite Disney movie, but I’ve been dining there for years and have always found the spaghetti and meatballs a solid “go to”.

I’d much rather take a Fri-Mon Disney Dream Cruise to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral. It’s also much cheaper, and that’s saying something for a Disney Cruise.

I have both of those as well! Two of the best box sets I own in general, not just from Disney. It will seriously be a shame if they overlook something like this for the 50th. And totally agree with you in regards to what should be included.

Agreed, but they were still releasing The Legacy Collection on CD and digital just two years ago. There are a lot of folks out there who still like to collect box sets and things like that, especially if it’s packaged nicely, comes with a spiffy book, etc. And the 50th anniversary definitely...

With the Disney Parks Blog posting a teaser yesterday of the WDW 50th anniversary merchandise, it got me wondering if there are any plans to release a either a double CD or comprehensive box set, like what Disneyland did for their 50th anniversary. I've seen rumblings on a couple of sites...
