Is it better to wait for Disney?

Ideally I would love to experience wdw every 5 years.... however, I don't have the will power, so we end up going twice a year haha

Show Your Teeth: Maelstrom or Frozen Overlay?

Hmm. Not immediately, but if its been there long enough, sure why not. New things keep it exciting. Maelstrom is no Pirates or HM, so I don't see the harm in trying something new with it. Well of course I'm a WDW supporter or else I wouldn't be here lol By "Frozen supporter" I mean, I really...

'Frozen' characters to appear during the holiday season at the Magic Kingdom

ok I disagree with most of this post and detect some hypocracy, unless I'm reading it wrong lol I'm sorry. Let me try and break it down. Now this I agree with, HOWEVER Elsa turning the castle into ice is less contrived, thus moving in the right direction. I'd hardly call Frozen taking over the...

'Frozen' characters to appear during the holiday season at the Magic Kingdom

I guess it never made sense to me WHY Cinderella would want a winter castle. Just seemed contrived.

'Frozen' characters to appear during the holiday season at the Magic Kingdom

Love it! What's so wrong with Elsa visiting Cindy's castle to do what she does?! She creates ice... The castle turns to ice.... Makes perfect sense. I don't see Elsa taking anything away from Cinderella at all! The old show always seemed like a stretch to me anyway.

Was there ever a rumour (or more) about JTTCOTE coming to WDW?

I clicked this just to figure out what JTTCOTE was lol darn acronyms :p carry on

Show Your Teeth: Maelstrom or Frozen Overlay?

I vote Frozen 100%. I rode Maelstrom once maybe 10 years ago and was bored. Just rode it again this past trip thinking I missed something, nope. Bored again. I think this is a case of nostalgia blinders. As the attraction stands right now, its really nothing worth keeping, in my honest opinion...

    Living with the Land Scenes

I agree! There's something so charming about this ride that screams classic Disney! My first visit was in 2001, so I never got to experience classic Epcot and I feel this is the closest I'll ever get to that. Just reading this thread title took me to the portion with the big screens and I got...

So have you ever explained attractions to people and you know they don't "get" it

I guess, if you strip down most Disney attractions you have a really slow moving ride or very tame "coaster". That's all the average person is going to see because that's really all they know. That's why Disney is so mind blowing, it goes beyond your wildest imagination!

So have you ever explained attractions to people and you know they don't "get" it

Yes! I get this all the time, especially with people whose only theme park experience comes from Cedar Point. It's nearly impossible to explain an immersive experience to them because they have no basis. My big one is always Splash Mountain. I always recommend it as a FP+ for newcomers, but...

Absolute favorite thing to do at WDW?

I'm also gonna add the sights, sounds, and smells of Main Street USA. Whether it be during the fall holiday, winter holiday or just regular season, there is nothing like it anywhere else in my option.

Absolute favorite thing to do at WDW?

It's super cheesy... but I love looking around during the fireworks to see all the families together and happy :') You know they just had a fantastic day and now they're soaking it all in with their loved ones. That's Disney magic right there

Making the most of Memory Maker.....advice?

Thinking of getting this for the first time. How do the on ride photos work? Do you scan your magic band somewhere? Do you have to wait in line at the counter as they find your photo?

Time and order of resorts on magical express?

Even on the worst of days, I can't see it being more than 1.5 hours MAX. Plus it's quite possible that you get the other end of the spectrum and its only 40 minutes TOPS, we've had that experience as well. Once you step off the plane there is literally no wait to get on the bus. They keep...

    The Frozen 'Initiative' ...

I seem to be one of the few on this board that LOVE Frozen and want it all over the parks! HOWEVER, I also want it done as magnificently as possible. The potential of a Frozen land is off the charts and as much as SW fans want to see that come to fruition, that's how much I want a true Frozen...

Time and order of resorts on magical express?

Last trip we stopped at pop, CBR, then AoA before finally getting to AKL. It's a little discouraging when you know you're paying so much more only to be let off last.
