Maria and Enzo's and Enzo's Hideaway offering large Passholder discounts

I hope Mellow Mushroom takes this space over when they fail (and they do deserve to fail.) It already fits their funky atmosphere. It would be such a better / more popular fit. Great pizza, salads, sandwiches and lots of beer.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Did that section get cleaned a few years ago? I remember someone from the company that was cleaning the beams was posting on here. The work they did looked great, but I am curious is this section was cleaned then or just the part of the loop farther in to future world.

    Parking fees at Resorts

Additionally, WDW would like you to not have a car on site. Using their transport keeps you on site and reduces cost for parking you at the parks. We always fly in and rent a car. We normally get a midsize SUV for under $200 for the week. We stop at Target and get snacks and water and it more...

News IllumiNations Dining Package coming to Epcot later this month

I ate a $32 entree and had 3 drinks, that's $60. The new option then is charging me an additional $25 for a guaranteed prime viewing spot? Sign me up. We've eaten at R&C probably 20 times and were seated outside 2 times. AND we've never been there for RoE. Now we've seen RoE from the...

News IllumiNations Dining Package coming to Epcot later this month

So I just looked at some pictures and there is seating for only about 100 people out there. So that means in a year 36,500 people out of 12,200,000 people attending EPCOT in a year. That's 0.3% of the park goers, a percentage of which don't care one way or another, they just happened to be...

News IllumiNations Dining Package coming to Epcot later this month

My thoughts on this (for what they're worth, which is little) are: 1) I am amazed how many people seem to think scoring a table at fairly early in the evening and then hanging on to it so they can watch the show is a birthright 2) Even though we love watching RoE from the area with the chairs to...

News PHOTO - Guest Experience Teams deployed throughout Magic Kingdom to help with peak crowds

Dude, 1) I'm comparing a Broadway Show to E tic Attractions 2) The point is planning, don't expect to show up to your local cinema for a popular movie right before showtime and expect to be guaranteed a seat. 3) Those longing for spontaneity are looking at the past through rose colored...

News PHOTO - Guest Experience Teams deployed throughout Magic Kingdom to help with peak crowds

We just went 11/24-12/01. We did the following as Standby at least once (many twice) during the week: Tiki Rm, Swiss Family, Pirates, Country Bears, HM, Philharmagic, Ariel, Sm Wrld, Tea Cups, People Mover, Space Mountain, Carousel of Progress, Spaceship Earth, Nemo, Figment, 3 Cab, Agent P...

News PHOTO - Guest Experience Teams deployed throughout Magic Kingdom to help with peak crowds

WDW "Spontaneity" is like the "Good old days of the 1950s." The fact is that pre fast pass lines were nasty, brutish and long. In the late 70s/early 80s when I was a kid, we'd take all day to do Adventureland and part of Liberty Sq. I will say I miss the old FP system, but only because I...

News PHOTO - Guest Experience Teams deployed throughout Magic Kingdom to help with peak crowds

Yes.... BUT, If you showed up in New York at Xmas and walked up to a hot Broadway show and said "I want 4 tickets for tonight" and then got all bent out of shape that they didn't have any for you, would you call that a "Tiering" of New York tourism or would it be fair to say you should have...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I thought I had taken a photo, just found it. This is from 11/29. This is a quick pic from my iphone, and in person looks a bit more blue. I took it because my wife and I were remarking about how well it blended with the sky.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Don't get me wrong, I'll make that trade for 3hrs of my time back. I am a little surprised they didn't open up one of those rooms, but I guess they thought standby folks would throttle those passing them.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

We just got back and were constantly amazed how the blue made the building disappear. The camera does not show how it looks to the eye. It really does disappear.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Having just come back from WDW last week, we were constantly amazed at how the "go away blue" made the building almost invisible. We were out in WS on three different days and the color of the building is not white like in this photo.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Well, having just been on FoP for the first time, there was 0 story until we got into the "briefing" rooms. We did not get any of the "experiments" that that standby folks get. Not even the quick walk past that you get in other newer attractions.
