Looks like there will be a light source of some type (possibly an LED-based RGB fixture) at each point of each triangle around the globe that would allow various patterns of light to be created as well as "points of light" that could provide a random sparkle effect as shown in the drawings.

I sure hope so - we were there just before H-ween and figured early that the speaker pole in our first chosen spot (Norway side of Mexico) was not working. We moved over to the other side of Mexico and of course the pole we stood next to there was not working either - bad show.

Just an update - was there this past weekend (Sunday, Oct 28) and our showing of MV3D was packed - I would guess house was at 3/4 capacity (of course the park itself was full as well). Great show - hate to see it reduced.

My kids are like that as well - my 9 year old son in particular wants to go see every movie in WS as soon as we get in (he likes FW too, don't get me wrong).

That PRT system at WVU is awesome...Had no idea something like that existed. Shame WDW can't / won't find a way.

Here are some I took last week from the line for Barnstormer. Difficult to see but interesting that the site development is awful close to the monorail spur line...wonder if it is somehow 'included' in the design.

Just thinking out loud... What would the cost difference be between a looped system (a la the TTC to Epcot line) vs. a single train back and forth station? I would assume one train versus several and 1/2 of the track (the 'return' part of the loop). Am I missing something?

I guess you could say it was a little more 'serious' in '93 versus now...but even then it still had plenty of craziness. I wish I could find my script. In a box in the attic somewhere.
