    Wishes for short people!

I'm 4'10 3/4, so I guess you have me beat (or not beat;)) The problem obviously comes when someone stands right in front of you, we are mostly looking *up at the fireworks, but since it's so packed, a person right in front of you can make it hard to see. There is the show on the castle that...

    Wishes for short people!

How early do you have to get there to get a railing spot. For some reason I have never thought to go up there to watch the fireworks. I just happened to read the other day about people doing this and now I'm really interested!

    Wishes for short people!

I'm not even 4'11, so I definitely understand! My 16 yr old daughter is usually saying, mom you can stand here and you'll be able to see better (I hear that pretty much watching anything) :hilarious: I'll keep an eye on the thread, but mostly just to see if I win the prize for the shortest...

Same here, I haven't received anything, through the mail or email, from Chase in regards to the free dining or room discounts either.

Do you hate WDW but still go?

As much as I hate to admit that my husband hates Disney, he does, he hates it! :( It does happen, there are people that have no interest in it. The hurricane comment from the Op, would be his exact thoughts! He only went for the kids and has no interest in going back. My oldest daughter and I go...

Best quick service restaurants at AK HS & Ep

Like a few other people here mentioned, I would go to Studio Catering. We did not like food at HS in the past, but this last time we tried Studio Catering and we thought it was fine. My daughter does not like food when it tastes overly processed and even she ate it, lol. And the Desert Pear...

Trip Report 2 Geeks take on the World: A May 2013 Report

Thank you for the link to your older TR, I love reading TR's and your pictures are great. What kind of camera are you using? Btw, I can see why you wouldn't want your picture taken with some of the Star Wars characters, a little creepy if you ask me. Lol, I know that's not what you meant but I'm...

Crowds: Food & Wine vs. Flower & Garden??

Lol, that sounds so opposite of everyone else, but I'm agreeing, I don't think I have any desire to go back to F&W. When we went in September several years ago, it was dead, I mean 10 minute or less waits for everything, one can only dream of that now. But I suspect that would still be a great...

Success using Touring Plans to secure specific hotel room? UPDATED since travel

Ah, ok. I know we were in the standard rooms also and stayed in building 4 and we were pleasantly surprised at how close the buses and food were.

Success using Touring Plans to secure specific hotel room? UPDATED since travel

I didn't look around for too long to find a room, i just picked a few lake view rooms. Did you pick anything? After coming home I realized that without a balcony, it wasn't a huge deal to me where I stayed, it's not like you have a chair out there to see whats going on, lol.

Crowds: Food & Wine vs. Flower & Garden??

I totally agree, we came back 11/17 and it was crowded all through the World, so I'm thinking of trying a new month. We've been in Sep, Nov, Jan and May, and so far Sep is the slowest. And Nov, (this year being the only time we've gone in Nov) is not a month I want to come back to. However, it...

Crowds: Food & Wine vs. Flower & Garden??

We were there for Flower and Garden about ten years ago and I have wanted to go back ever since. I just loved it. I would think if crowds are lower I would also prefer to go in May. I don't need the extra food, but it was fun this past trip seeing what Food and Wine was all about. But with...

Crowds: Food & Wine vs. Flower & Garden??

That's what I thought, but wasn't positive. I'm trying to decide between a September and May trip for next time, although January is still in the mix. Just wanted to make sure it wan't quite as busy as Food and Wine. We also just left there a week ago and I really didn't love the crowds.

Trip Report 2 Geeks take on the World: A May 2013 Report

Great pictures! Do you by any chance remember what you thought of the Bacon wrapped meatloaf from Wolfgang's (I think that's what that is in one of those pictures above). I've never ordered meatloaf at a restaurant, but it looks so good, I'd like to try it. I mean there's bacon wrapped around...

Crowds: Food & Wine vs. Flower & Garden??

I am totally aware that the crowds are bonkers these days, but I am wondering, if F&G brings the same amount of crowds as F&W? I feel like it's not quite as large of crowds, but they also (just a few years back, right?) added food booths to Flower & Garden. So did that make crowds larger? Isn't...
