    Animal Kingdom Lodge Advice

I love staying at AKL, but I thought the number of bus rides we needed to make over the course of a week was a bit much. Although I will say I never had to wait very long for one either to or from the parks. I like to take breaks in the middle of the day, hang at the pool, that sort of thing, so...

Trip Report Double the fun in 2017

When I went back at night with my FOP fast pass I thought I could sneak onto the Na'vi ride again but there was an hour-plus wait. The Pandora area is really cool at night but the Na'vi ride is indoors so it doesn't really matter when you go on that. I've also read that the area is actually more...

    Boma vs Tusker House

I've eaten at both and thought they were very similar in food selection and vibe.

    Beach Club or AKL?

Hi there - have you considered staying at both? I regularly split my trips up into two resorts; the last time on a 3-nighter. I think it's really easy to do and I like getting the different vibes of the resort on one trip. I've stayed at AKL twice - the first time for a week, and although it's...

    Copper Creek @ Wilderness Lodge

Just did a one-nighter in a Copper Creek one-bedroom villa. Nice to be in a room where everything is new, though it felt like they took two rooms and it into one big one, which I guess is exactly what they did. Massive amounts of shelving space. Certainly more than I would ever need. All the...

Trip Report Double the fun in 2017

Hello - so I returned with the family from a quick three-day trip to Disney a couple weeks ago. This was on the heels of a week-long trip back in early May. I'd go once a month if I could... The one thing I did on both trips, which really worked out well, was to stay in multiple resorts. I...

    Wilderness Lodge construction questions

Was there in early March at a villa. Requested a room change after getting one that overlooked construction (that had been an original request). The lake view past the construction was nice, but the work kind of dominated the view. Glad we changed. But I didn't hear any real noise or anything...

    Boardwalk Villas

Stayed a few weeks ago. Seems like the further down the villas wing you go the quieter it gets. Down there, you've cleared the front entrance and the main pool. I tried to move to a corner room down there at the end when I checked in - I hear they're bigger with a more private patio. But ended...

How bad is the Wilderness Lodge construction?

Thanks for the tip - and good question. I believe some rooms are open though others are being converted.

How bad is the Wilderness Lodge construction?

Thanks for the update! Nice view. My big concern is not so much the construction noise (noisy neighbors would stink) but the view out over the construction area between the villas and the lake. Last photos I saw were pretty ugly, but that was early December and now I see the new QS restaurant...

How bad is the Wilderness Lodge construction?

Anyone have a sense of where they'll be with construction around the WL villas in March? Requesting a southern view, but thinking by March maybe things will be far enough along that a northern view won't be overlooking a dust bowl.
