    Fix or replace the monorail

Yeah, that would be the only way to do it! I would go for the same exact look, as the monorail is very futuristic looking, but maybe go MAGLEV!

    Walke Talkies

Not necessarily! The cell towers in the park get overloaded sometimes with all of the people there, especially in heavy crowds!

    Fix or replace the monorail

I agree 100%! You can't think of Disney parks without thinking of the monorails!

If you could choose the location of the next park, where would you put it?

True, that could work too! Hurricanes would be a concern though, although Florida sees its share of hurricanes!

If you could choose the location of the next park, where would you put it?

So, I don't think a third world country would work. If Disney was to build another park somewhere, they would try to build it as close to the same size as WDW, as opposed to Disneyland. Unfortunately, that would cost a lot of money for them to do, and they would want to try to recoup it as...

If you could choose the location of the next park, where would you put it?

I have seen a couple of people in here post about DC. Unfortunately, there is hardly any room there to build a large park like WDW, but most importantly, DC would be too expensive. You would not want the land to cost as much as the park would. As I mentioned in my post, you would want to to...

If you could choose the location of the next park, where would you put it?

I live in Texas myself (Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex) and if Disney wanted to add a third park here in the USA, I agree this would be a good choice as well. It will be centrally located, lots of land available at pretty cheap prices, and the weather is not bad at all during the year. You...

    Early 1970s Tomorrowland

IIRC, didn't it open in 1971 with the park? Yeah, hardly anything around back then!

    Advice for upcoming trip

I agree with what was said above: (1) Take her to each of the four parks on the first four days. She may have favorites and want to go back to certain parks for the remainder of the trip. (2) Try to take your time as much as possible, and hopefully January will be way slower than summer!

Is taking a camera worth the hassle?

Ashley, IMO, it will depend on how often you think you will get to go! If you don't go that often, then pictures and videos would be more important! If you have the luxury of going at least once per year, then you may not need pictures all of the time!

    park hopping.......very misunderstood

IMO, park hopping only makes since if you will staying a short amount of time and you want to get to see all of the parks! This, in my mind means that a park a day is ideal, so since there are 4 parks, you absolute minimum stay should be 4 days, however if you can't stay that long, then you...

Travel Day - Manchester to Orlando

Looks like a good start, and I am sure you two will have fun! Make sure to get plenty of photos and video for yourself, as you can always edit out any extra! As they say, always better to have too much, instead of not enough! I know how you feel with the jet lag, as we recently (June 2017) flew...

    First disneyworld trip

Congrats on your first trip to WDW, as I am sure you will enjoy it! Since you are a cast member at Disneyland, you will definitely be able to make comparisons and see what you like and don't like in each of the parks!

When another Guest ruins an experience/attraction for you

"Whether it’s roses, fresh cookies, or a skunk, when you get a whiff of something, molecules travel through your nose and to your odor receptors. This pathway then triggers the olfactory bulb in the brain’s limbic system, and fragrant magic happens. Memories rush back, appetites roar, or...
