News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

No, It's not a Straw Man argument. I responded to your response to this comment "Have you been there? Because everything in your post happens all day every day and has since the land opened." And you concurred with his statement saying that a few characters roaming around equates to immersive...

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

Random characters interacting with guests is not "fully immersive". Stop lowering the bar for Disney. When they say "fully immersive"..then we expect more from Disney. And once again...they take the cheaper, easier, lazy way out.

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

Random roaming Stormtroopers and a few characters standing around is not fully immersive as it it should have been.

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

I don't think we need some silly show. I think they need to do what they originally announced they would do..have an organic, immersive experience throughout the land with stormtroopers policing the streets, vendors trying to sell goods, spies lurking about, innocent citizens being apprehended...

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

There's nothing more immersive about Space Adventure Land (in space) than when you put some hokey show on one of the stages. I'm still waiting for the First Order troopers to patrol the streets, mark through, ensure order and maybe even apprehend a dressed up CM resistance member. Alas....nothing.

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

What you really mean is....How dare I criticize or question things that the vaunted Disney Parks do?

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

But I'm not talking about standard maintenance and upkeep. I am talking about the massive construction projects that have blemished Walt Disney World since the ascendance of Iger.

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

Not at this magnitude. I remember going for many years with only the occasional scrim, nothing this bad. But since Iger....it's non-stop.

Oh....and finally saw Song of the South. There is nothing racist about it at all. It's honors to old Black Southern folk tales and teaches a very good lesson. Get past the propaganda from the career hucksters and watch the movie.

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

It has been so long since I have been able to go to WDW without massive cranes, scaffolding, scrims and construction. I will be so happy with the Iger era is over so we can finally just enjoy the park for a few years without it all.

John Williams wins Grammy Award for "Galaxy's Edge Symphonic Suite"

It was okay. Compared to past Williams work, this is quite forgettable and surely will not be something you hum while cleaning out the garage.

    Updates to the Seas Pavilion

Now all they need to do is improve Turtle Talk with crush, because that is not as entertaining as other interactive rides. And the Nemo and Friends ride is lazy. with VR and other new technologies they can really make an incredibly solide journey under the ocean ride. Ideally I would love the...

News FastPass+ comes to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate the information. Once I pilot it if I ever get another chance to board it again I would be willing to try the other experiences. I only hope it is as good as you say.

News FastPass+ comes to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Here's a clever way to handle the capacity....make more ride vehicles. And the 8-year-old can get on another ride. Those are the breaks.

News FastPass+ comes to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney's Hollywood Studios

It looks like my wife was on top of that this morning and got ours. I hope this is not as I have heard...just a big video game. But wouldn't it make more sense to just have two people ride at a time (one pilot and one co-pilot)? Those are the only two seats that really seem to get the full...

McDonald's near to Disney All Star Resort to close for remodel

I wouldn't mind if they did the "prices of yesterday" even for a short window once a month or once a year. And go back to the "Menu of yesterday" just burgers, fries and shakes. Keep the menu simple with simple prices for a specific time.

They need to construct a building with the original style golden arches otherwise...it's not McDonald's.

News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

I don't like the IP's being so overt in World Showcase. It's one thing to have the occasional character happen to be in their particular country. It's also okay to have a character topiary, but overtly placing IP's in World Showcase changes what the pavilions were supposed to be. They were...
