They are doing far more than playing catch up. And at least we agree on Iger not being a saint.

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

Since I complain so much about construction...that should tell you that there is too much construction. Because I don't complain about the heat in the summer. That is expected. The construction has been inordinate.

And he got ridiculous especially in the last 10 years. It has been non-stop construction in and around the parks. I don't like navigating and seeing construction equipment, concrete barricades, mountains of dirt, cranes, chain link fences and wall. They are building just for the sake of...

The parks had ample attendance for decades prior to Iger and didn't look like a perpetual construction site.

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

I'm not calling you out to be a loyalist....though many others on this site are. And it looks like you and I agree that Space Adventure Land (in space) can be better. I just don't like how Disney oversold it the same way they oversold Pandora. It could be and should be much better. We as fans...

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

Well obviously I'm in the wrong place ever since Iger came on board. Prior to his arriving there was not so much overt construction. And I'm not talking about building out parks, I am talking about constant construction all over the resort. Alternative, Spacing out the construction so it does...

News Splash Mountain closing for lengthy refurbishment in early 2020

You, like some others, are again misreading my comment. I’m not criticizing Disney for maintain rides. I’m criticizing the constant construction by Iger since he took over. We have gone to Disney every year since 2006 and once Iger took over it’s been cranes, scaffolding, walls, traffic cones...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Next question.... How are they going to maintain the immersive experience in the hotel after someone...inevitably...gets offended, or some kid gets scare, or some guest finds something offensive or inconvenient. Disney is known for cutting the cord on many features after the slightest complaint...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Now that it has a release date I think it time to ask the question... Originally Disney reported when they announced the hotel that the immersive experience in the hotel will carry out into Space Adventure Land (in space). How are they going to maintain the immersion in the land.....when they...

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

I know. The Disney loyalists sometimes seem like a cult. They turn a blind eye to every flaw that Disney has and gladly accept less and less while paying more and more.

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

The "operational and safety constraints" comes down to money. Disney does not want to pay CMs as actors because they have to pay them at a higher scale. The bottom line is that Disney is once again giving us less for more money.

News 'Star Wars A Galaxy Far, Far Away' stage show and some meet and greets to end alongside entertainment shift to Galaxy's Edge?

Operational and safety constraints? From acting out skits. From CMs who are playing characters being apprehended by First Order troopers. From CMs pretending to be spies or from CMs playing residents acting out roles and interacting with each other so we can sit back and observe a distant world...
