I totally agree. I didn't mean in any way that I think the parents should blame themselves or are in any way to blame for this tragedy. There was nothing they could have done. I just feel bad for them that they have to live with what happened for the rest of their lives.

When we were in WDW for July 4th, we spent the day shopping at DTD. It wasn't crowded at all. We were staying at the GF so we watched the fireworks from the beach that night.

More likely he had a pre-existing condition. He may not have even known about it. No matter how you look at it, this is a tragedy.

I hope they don't open up the castle for overnight stays after the Dreams Celebration. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but it seems to me like it would take away a big part of the magic. Imagine walking down Main Street and seeing laundry hanging out to dry on a window, people having a party...

Sorry to hear about your experience. We own at Beach Club, but stayed at Saratoga last year. We felt the same way you do. I think a lot of the problems will be fixed by the time the resort is finished. We stayed in the Paddock a couple of days after it opened, and bus drivers kept forgetting...
