They're my favorite part too. I adore RoL, and I'm handling this news about as well as a teenager handles a breakup. :cry:

I don't understand why they don't just end it then. I love RoL but this mess they're leaving behind....give me a farewell shirt and ornament and let me mourn in the way Disney's conditioned me. But I agree, since all the show's "magic" comes directly from the shaman it'll be a downright disaster...

I am so absolutely devastated that they're cutting the shaman. I love RoL, and I knew from the beginning that the beauty and story was lost on a lot of people and even more didn't care to find it. I knew they'd do something to ruin it, I just figured I'd have to endure another clipshow of Disney...

So to hopefully follow better internet etiquette (sorry Jack Sparrow thread), the shamans have been cut from RoL, their final performance is September 29

To answer my own question all RoL performers have been cut and will disappear at the end of this month as well. Hopeful word is they may be "seasonal" and I'm gonna choose to cling to that hope.

Are they cutting all 4 dancers from RoL or just the acolytes? we saw the "lightning" version of the show this past Thursday and it was SO WEIRD. The boats were just sailing around empty. No projections of like "spirit shamans" just...empty blue and empty orange boat. Chillin. I hope they're not...
