    Best time to cruise?

Oh wow, Disney is doing a Bermuda route now? That's by far my favorite port of call i've ever visited. It's the most expensive island to visit, but it's also the cleanest, kindest and most breathtaking locale's i've ever experienced!! You should be very excited! Keep in mind however that...

WDW vet, first time cruiser - advise appreciated

Do it! Book a Verandah room, Midship, around deck 9 is perfect! There's more events on-board than you'll be able to do in multiple cruises. For adults, the mixology, tequila and margarita and other liquor tastings and classes are surprisingly entertaining and tasteful, really cool experiences...

Question about Formal nights on 5 night Cruises

If it states "optional" that only means that they won't deny you entrance to the dining room if you don't dress formally. Some cruise lines have Dress code that you must adhere to in order to enter the dining room on any day (pants no shorts on normal days, collars on formal nights) Disney, I...

Akershus breakfast and frozen ride FP

The attraction does open at 9, and while your reservation is for 8:25am you probably can expect a small delay before being seated. Also consider if you are planning on participating on the princess meet and greet you'll want to plan to give the princess's time to get around to your table, which...

    sports bar on castaway cay?

After working on a less worthy cruise line than Disney, we made a pretty reasonable deal out of various large sporting events because they were HUGE bar revenue makers. Obviously not every game, but the big ones, we'd move our event schedules around to accommodate this, because as sad as it is...

Do you get the feeling universal is one step ahead of Disney

Ya, I absolutely felt like disney copied Universal on the choice to include a themed beverage... however it's nowhere near as good as butter beer.

Do you get the feeling universal is one step ahead of Disney

Universal stepped their game this past decade with the introduction of Harry Potter and some other real enhancements around their parks and resort complex as a whole. But, they were dealing with a product that already had room for improvement, and a much smaller phsyical entity than it's main...

    Atlantic dance hall closing?

I'm surprised its not just used as an extension of the convention facilities and used for special events. But, I wouldn't mind another dining/entertainment option down at the boardwalk and it's location is pretty ideal and unique, here's hoping for progress.

Caribbean Beach 9 days or just last three at POR?

Disney buses vs A resort shuttle/ driving. Obviously driving yourself over each day adds parking costs. Disney busses are the best way to get around on property, plus don't forget about the food and entertainment at CBR, I love that resort. The Sheraton is a nice, Huge rooms (it's a timeshare)...

    sports bar on castaway cay?

While I can't give you a 100%, I'm pretty sure there isn't. If there's a sporting event you're hoping to catch you'll probably be bound to the sports bar or your state room. Have a great cruise!

They should theme the volcano off that pixar short clip that made everyone cry.

    Jungle Cruise Re-Imagining

I have friends who are skippers, and one of their largest gripes is how foreign audiences don't always understand the deadpan/ sarcastic humor which is the mainstay on the modern jungle cruise... Adding a movie tie in, something akin to Pirates of the Caribbean adding jack sparrow, would appeal...

    Duty Free

I have not, and that would be unfortunate if they did. But honestly, last time i sailed with Disney their onboard duty free bottles weren't that good of a deal, they've also definitely pulled back on selection on their ships. You're much better off buying bottles in port and bringing them back...

    5 days on the Magic

Not just for attending. They do give you free drinks, a beach cup holder and a light up wristband for attending.(at least last may they did) My family did end up buying more points on our last cruise, and we did receive an onboard credit at that point, I don't recall how much it was for though...

Eastern or Western Caribbean/Fantasy or Wonder Honeymoon Question

The decision really comes down to which ports your most interested in seeing. Every port has its perks honestly. I'd recommend researching the ports and excursions they offer and what interests you the most. History, nature, beaches, extreme adventures, they're all offered at each location...

    Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter

Hey regarding snacks, I can give you the 100% official answer. You may not take any fruits, vegetables or meats off the ship. USDA regulations apply to the ship in all ports, and technically it can carry a hefty fine, however it's not heavily enforced. BUT, this does not apply to wrapped and...

    DCL Concierge?

I think the largest perks of concierge are the private deck spaces and the upgraded room. Those suites are lovely, huge verandahs and upgraded amenities, and not having to fight for a deck chair on the main pool deck is a MAJOR perk. Customer service on a disney cruise is already top notch, so...

Best EPCOT souvenirs, snacks, hidden secrets

I went on a field trip to Epcot when i was a freshman in high school! Best field trip ever! I remember my friend buying a set of toy nun-chucks and going wild with them all the way home on the bus. Definitely check out the stores in Japan, China and Mexico they are huge and have lots of fun...
