    Well that was easy

Similar experience from UK too. Very smooth and plenty choice at 60 day mark. Have done some switching of times since with no problems. Only slight issue was availability for 7DMT. None for arrival day but fine for later in trip.

    Quick answer: CBR or POFQ

Loved CBR. Lush, tropical and gorgeous. Fab feature pool and good food court as well as quiet pool and laundry room for each "island". We were in pirate rooms which are furthest away buildings from port royale amenities (10+ min walk) meaning we didn't use the pool or food court as much as we...

    Halloween alternatives to MNSSHP

Resorts usually have Halloween themed activities on 31st. The front desk can give you an itinerary. You can also watch Hallowishes from outside MK. We're there staying at the Contemporary in 2 weeks and are not attending any parties this year but will watch the special fireworks from the hotel...

    macaroni & cheese bread cones

Google bread cones :) Like a giant ice cream cone but made of long strip of bread that's been baked till it's crisp enough to be filled with mac and cheese and topped with bacon bits. Min and Bill's had them for a while too but with chicken and bacon or sausage fillings.

    macaroni & cheese bread cones

According to Disney food blog they were removed from menu? Was a post on these boards about them before and they looked delish!! Hope they are still there.

CBR. Best Village to stay at?

The bridge from aruba and Jamaica is out of action for now but assuming the work will be done when you get there, I would choose a building just over the bridge. The buildings either side of port royale are much closer but are preferred and cost extra. If you want to guarantee you're within a...

    What to Expect?

Just remembered, Hulk down for a long refurbishment. Not opening till beginning of next summer :( My oldest is a very petite 11 year old and many of his friends have been riding the hulk on their visits for a few years. This year he is finally tall enough...and it shut 4 weeks before we will...

    What to Expect?

Hi. We'll be there in 3 weeks!! Disaster and the Lucy tribute have closed. Lucy is becoming a Hello Kitty store and Disaster is making way for the Fast and Furious ride, if I remember right, but that's not opening till 2017 when the new water park, Volcano Bay, also opens. Kong opens next year...

    Seasonal/Halloween food and drink items

To clarify, by "taken out" @LAKid53 @MansionButler84 and @SayCheers! I meant have added to their menu. I can see that was badly phrased and did not mean to cause SB distress!! ;) I believe they still do more Halloween theme stuff, including pumpkin, at the parties, but you'll pay handsomely...

Extra hour for on-site stay question

We'll also be there on some of the dates mentioned so had a quick look about and read that on HHN days, early entry will be to US at 7am before the park opens for general admission at 8am, although the disclaimer is that that could change at any time and was not on an official USF site. Had...

    Seasonal/Halloween food and drink items

There are special food and drink items on sale during the Halloween parties but you do need to have a ticket! I saw in a blog that Starbucks have taken out fall themed coffees - pumpkin spice for example. I remember having a choice of the normal cupcakes at BoG in 2013 but they also had 2...

    pirate room review?

Fab theming and very lush, beautiful resort. Rooms feel spacious and pirate beds are very cool. Carpet looks like wooden planks and drawers are barrels, lights are ship lamps. We had a corner unit so lots of light and very quiet. Each 'island' has its own quiet pool and laundry room. Bit of a...

Table service or quick service in Epcot?

My boys loved garden grill, upstairs from sunshine seasons. Restaurant rotates slowly so you look down into different parts of living with the land ride. Also character dining with chip and dale, mickey and pluto. Food is served family style and was lovely, what we (as Scots!!) thought of as...

    UK Travel agents

We use virgin. Got everything linked easily to my MDE account with the number they gave us. Thought about booking it all ourselves to try and get best deal but went with peace of mind in the end that it was all done through one company. We got a garden wing room in contemporary through virgin...

    EMH at MK

Think MK has enough rides open to absorb bigger numbers during EMH. We only did the morning EMH last trip as boys were younger and we got on fine. We're planning to try evening EMH this trip so fingers crossed. We found morning EMH at AK to be good too. Quiet for the hour and for the two hours...

    Biscuits and gravy

A Scot here and tried to explain biscuits and gravy to my mum the other day. She did not grasp the awesome nature of such a combination. Just can't get them in restaurants over here, in fact eating out for breakfast isn't really much of a thing here. Will get my breakfast buffet/b&g fix in...

    7DMT and frozen sisters.

Many folks head straight to 7D and frozen meet at park opening so it will get busy almost immediately. Being at the tapstiles a good bit earlier than opening means you are at the front of the queue for getting in and might be a bit ahead. At the height of frozen madness the CMs formed a line and...

Convince me to stay at CBR...

Loved it. Pool fab, lush, gorgeous theming, great food court. Stayed in pirate rooms - all are located in the most remote 'island' so about 10 minute walk to port royale which was a thought after long day at parks with 2 little ones but we were aware of this and knew we'd be focusing on the...

6 Year old son and rides...help.

I know!! Thankfully it's the only time I've ever seen anything like it. Hopefully your son will get caught up in the magic of the whole trip and will be happy to give things a go. I'm sure he'll love it whatever he does and doesn't want to ride. My husband doesn't like coasters and refuses to...
