Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Respectfully, it's not as cut and dry as you think it is either. The laptop will have to be turned on for anyone to see the other side of it. Sadly, these resources get sent home, and there's not enough structure in the home to make sure that happens.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I've seen comments similar to this a few times, over the past few days. The REOPEN group in North Carolina has 65,000 members in the facebook group. The STAY HOME NC group that was created to counter has 16,000 members. I wouldn't call that a small, vocal minority...….reading through both...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

The pigs are bred, born, raised and butchered in the USA - the company is owned by a Chinese corporation (sold a few yeas ago). Us North Carolinians need you to keep eating that pork!

Long Line Memories and Line Etiquette, Your Worst Line Experiences

Fondest long line memory: The couple in front of us, for the Baymax M&G, took an extra 20 or so minutes so that they could pose their "support dogs" for pictures. They re-shot several pictures because the dogs weren't looking at the camera......

    Skippers canteen or BOG?

Echoing the other comments: Skipper's Canteen. BOG was one of our favorites until it went prix fixe. The price of meals at Disney is what it is, however, on our last trip we walked away feeling like we'd been "had" after our BOG meal (and 10000% not worth an extra credit if using the meal plan).

    Ticketing/Entry System Crash

Your arrogance is what is truly ridiculous. Keep telling yourself that everyone who disagrees with you is in some way inferior. I've seen your posts on other topics and I hope that "you're putting on a show here online, and that when you walk away from the computer and start interacting with...

When do YOU book your flights?

https://www.google.com/flights/ I always book through Google Flights. Started looking back in September for our trip in March. Tracked the flights and we (wife and son) were able to fly from Raleigh, NC to Orlando, round trip, for less that $450.00 total.....Unbelievable deal. Check it out...

    Biggest Disney Pet Peeve

my pet peeve is the failure to use a phrase that is nearing extinction: "excuse me." if you bump into someone, use it. if you realize that you've stopped short in front of someone, use it. if someone is walking slow and you'd like to get around them, don't follow too close, just say it.

    Dining Plan: Doing the Math

I 100% agree and I understand it's not in the calculations. There are a lot of people that interpret the Dining plans to be all inclusive. Granted, a lot of these folks also thing fast pass is something you pay for. I guess what I meant was that even after you pay for a dining plan, there is...

    Dining Plan: Doing the Math

Another point to mention is that alcohol and tips are not included. My wife and I enjoy a adult beverage at dinner and we tip the standard 15-20%. Add those onto the meal plan and the cost just isn't worth it for our family

Hello everyone - first time poster here........my wife and I will be taking our little boy to Disney in February, just shy of his third birthday. We are BEYOND excited and we're starting to explain to him the wonderful things he'll experience on his first trip. We went last year (whirlwind...
